Perhaps Trump can manage to do this all over again.

The world is on the edge just waiting for a little nudge.

The clothing/sock industry went to South America then even they lost the jobs to China over time. Competing with a country that devalues it’s currency is not free fair trade.

But according to Ted Cruz and the Conserva-Cucks, Free-trade is just wonderful and if you oppose it you must be a fascist/socialist/pinko commie.

And what’s more, heavy-handed regulations on the part of EPA, OSHA, and the IRS,...... Obamacare, labor unions, double-taxation of foreign profits, racial and gender quotas, legal hamstringing of hiring processes, affirmative action, high corporate income taxes, irrational product liability court decisions, along with entrenched subsidies to favored industries, Dodd-Frank, Sarbanes Oxley, and the massive anti-capitalist funds supporting the vilification of commercial progress and NIMBY anti-construction movements in this country.......... have absolutely nothing to do with the loss of South Carolina manufacturing jobs since 1994.

Nope, it’s NAFTA, and NAFTA alone.

Those were Massachusetts jobs first.

It’s not just NAFTA but the EPA and SC coal mines.

Just as Cruz wants to end the Ethanol subsidies, this is what he said about Coal.

SC has coal mines that 0’s EPA is after, Cruz on Coal

this is sort of misleading

the textile industry that migrated to SC from New England to where it had migrated from England, migrated to Bangladesh and elsewhere but not primarily to Mexico.

It was not NAFTA that moved the textile industry

I wonder if those companies are the same ones that exited the Midwest for South Carolina a few years earlier.

NAFTA - thanks to Clinton, Dole and Bush.

Perot warned us of what was to come and we ignored him. Trump is warning us of what is to come. Will we ignore him, too?

And both of them being nutcases has nothing to do with it. One spoke the truth and the other is speaking the truth.

This cartoon came out soon after NAFTA was enacted. It was prophetic.

1. Ted Cruz says he opposes TPP.

2. Club For Growth fervently supports TPP.

3. Club For Growth has (so far) donated over $700,000 to the Cruz campaign.

Don't forget what NAFTA did to us:

NAFTA was simply economic permission to crush U.S. tariffs, so huge companies could produce products overseas for embarrassingly low wages and then import the pieces back into the U.S. either whole or for assembly, without paying previously-imposed tariffs. Wages and environmental regulations were laughable, though many companies have now fled Mexico in favor of even lower wages and virtually no pollution standards in third-world countries.
