A sociopath?
Pure psychopath. Exactly like those serial killers who could “kill” and just look you in the eye and smile and say “What difference does it make?”
Herself’s voice rises when the lie is spoken aloud. That is a pretty accurate tell, much like Jimmy Carter’s raised eyebrows.
Sociopath that Herself may be, the little things still show up around the edges. Like the small child in “hiding” that peeks out from behind the sofa.
In the book “Games People Play”, Eric Berne spoke of a game “Let’s Pull a Fast One on Joey”, in which the oligarchy pulls off a scam bilking the vast majority, then shifts the blame in large part to the victims themselves, or as an “unavoidable consequence”.
