The Republican race in South Carolina has edged closer a day before voters cast their ballots, according to a new poll that shows Donald J. Trump and Senator Ted Cruz neck and neck.
An NBC News/Wall Street Journal/Marist survey found that 28 percent of likely Republican primary voters support Mr. Trump, while 23 percent back Mr. Cruz. In January, the billionaire was leading him by 16 percentage points.
Conducted after the first two nomination contests and the latest Republican presidential debate, Mr. Cruz has seen a groundswell of support shift his way from voters who consider themselves to be "very conservative" and Tea Party Republicans. The Texas senator has been hammering Mr. Trump for his previous liberal positions and for his criticism of former President George W. Bush.
Despite the swing, several other recent polls have shown Mr. Trump maintaining double-digit leads in South Carolina ahead of the election on Saturday.
Some of Mr. Trump's support in South Carolina has also shifted to Senator Marco Rubio, whose support sits at 15 percent. The Florida Republican is also the most popular second choice among South Carolina voters...

Funny how “Principled Conservatism” now is suppose to means a willingness to distort, lie and mislead.
Pity for you facts don't change because they are inconvenient to our opinions. As John Adams supposedly said
Facts are stubborn things; and whatever may be our wishes, our inclinations, or the dictates of our passion, they cannot alter the state of facts and evidence.
I am so sick of this constant pissing between Trump supporters and Cruz supporters, because it has become surly and childish. If you don’t like Trump, fine; don’t vote for him. If you don’t like Cruz, fine; don’t vote for him. But on election day in November, I hope you all do the right thing.
I haven’t posted any threads since last night, I’ve been sick. Go look.
Yeah Babur we know for a fact that one of the two polls was rigged.
400 people were thrown out. It’s a PR firm. I suspect the second poll is the same thing but just has not been vetted.
Nevertheless, let’s say the second poll is real. Well that’s one my 1 poll out of how many that had trump leading by around 20’points more or less.
Cruzbots and their wishful thinking.
Rupert Murdoch is such a Trustworthy Pollster.
Trump has a double digit lead. It’s not even close.
Trump also wind the Independents and cross over Democrats.
Yep it’s not even remotely close
Posting to ping for later.
“Trump is losing support in SC.”
LOL!
I guess then you are going to accept that Cruz is now trailing Rubio too?
The Trump Cult is scared to death. If they were confident they wouldn’t say a thing.
Trump is the only one in the picture looking to the right.
And Cruz
Albion Wilde has a great Trump Ping list, and he will send you a list of great Trump Pictures and Graphics if you ask him. Ping list gets a great list of Trumpmobilia ever day.
