JFK had a Conservative voting record of only 12% in the Senate. He was just not adept enough to get his leftist agenda through Congress. LBJ used the
honeymoon after the Assassination, to put through the Leftist Agenda, which has messed up the lives of Americans, ever since.
Nixon was no real Conservative, but he was definitely to the right of JFK--well to the right of JFK.

He was just not adept enough to get his leftist agenda through CongressAll three first-term Senators elected to the White House - Harding, Kennedy, Obama - have been miserable failures.
There's a message in that.

That’s how I remembered it. I was in my young teens at the time but I already had a passion for politics.
Limbaugh and Hannity popularize the idea that Kennedy was a conservative because he passed tax cuts. Neither one of them seem to know much about the division between liberals and conservatives in the early 60s. And considering how they champion the civil rights movement they would find themselves on the same side as JFK and Lyndon Johnson and opposed to Goldwater and Reagan.
