As a Cruz supporter, I actually see this as good news.

I agree it’s good news. The sooner this gets resolved the better. The reason Trump never sued it that it makes a better political issue than lawsuit.

Me too. It may have other implications as well.

What would happen if this court sets the Founder’s intent, born on American soil of American parents, as the standard for NBC status?

The current occupier doesn’t meet those standards.

I agree. Getting this nonsense out of the way will help Cruz and make Trump look like even more if a Lefty buffoon.

Yeah, why is this “bad news”?

You should. If this court finds him to be Natural Born it will lay to rest all of the chaos theory about what could happen if he were to win the election.

Frankly I am stunned that these people are bringing the case now. Doing so after the election could buy them months of Obama Overtime.

“As a Cruz supporter, I actually see this as good news.”

As do I, Trump only brought this up to muddy the waters, this will serve to clarify the matter.

Agree ... let’s put his eligibility to bed for good.

I agree. I’d rather it be settled now.

Agreed! As I’ve been saying, Cruz would not have jumped into this race if he didn’t think he could clear this hurdle, and it isn’t that high of a hurdle.

Ditto, if anyone should be questioned it’s the smarmy used car salesman Rubio.

I’m with you, this is not bad news, despite what the [un]enlightened1 might think. I was actually hoping it would happen sooner.

I just wonder why none of these “Republicans” so concerned with Cruz’s eligibility never challenged Obama’s eligibility...

"As a Cruz supporter, I actually see this as good news."

Same here. Get it settled and done with.

AND I like the precedent. ALL candidates should be challenged on their eligibility to be POTUS!

Agree.
It’s funny - All fifty states have certified Cruz for their ballots.

I believe a number of people tried to sue regarding the Constitutional eligibility of Obama to be President only to have their suits dismissed because of lack of standing. Apparently is the goal is to disqualify a conservative, that is not an issue.

What about no entangling alliances?

For me “Natural Born” means you don’t have other citizenship options. Born in the US of two US Citizens. No ability to claim citizenship of another country at time of birth. The ONLY exceptions should be those born out of country to two US citizens while one or both parents are on military deployment.

Right. It needs to be cleared up. But expect appeals. And don’t rule out Congress naming him ineligible.
