Donald Trump is now leading Saturday's South Carolina Republican primary by 5 points â down from his 16-point lead in the state a month ago, according to results from a new NBC News/Wall Street Journal/Marist poll.
Trump gets support from 28 percent of likely Republican primary voters in the state, while Ted Cruz gets 23 percent. They're followed by Marco Rubio at 15 percent, Jeb Bush at 13 percent, and John Kasich and Ben Carson at 9 percent each.
Fer gawdsakes Sparky, try the decaf.
Whatever you’re selling, nobody’s buying.
Rupert and his fellow travelers at this polling entity are using this as a tool to create a talking point for Fox and to a larger degree possibly local NBC affiliates in South Carolina in order to give their primary voters the impression that Trump is vulnerable and to discourage his supporters and encourage his detractors to try to influence the vote and turnout
I’d take it with a grain of salt
This primary season has shown me once again Murdoch and Ailes consider themselves our gatekeepers
Don’t believe me ask an Englishman
Another IQ-challenged Trump supporter.
These people are actually proud that they’re led around like circus animals by a conman.
Great news! Murdoch and the WSJ hate Cruz.
And hopefully people will hear about Trump’s support for the Obamacare mandate before they vote.
The WSJ is tossing it’s credibility into the pot on the poker table.
36 hours until reality comes home to roost.
Imagine walking back into that building on Monday morning realizing the National Inquirer won the pot.
Ba bye...
-—They paid for the poll, but it was conducted by Marist College.
This pollster has a good reputation - fivethrityeight rates it as a B+, based upon its past predictive accuracy. The poll additionally has a sample of over 2,700.-—
2700 is a yuuuuuge sample size.
-— If Trump starts massively attacking Cruz this poll is probably accurate. -—
His inner Code Pink is being exposed by the pressure. Do Americans really want an unstable president?
Ad hominem much?
-— I can only hope that Bernie-mania will tamp down the Dem cross-overs in upcoming states. -—
That is the importance of his campaign.
The latter primaries are mainly northern, winner-take-all. Cruz will need all the conservatives he can get.
All I can say about this photo is that I’m happy Trump dresses to show his respect for his audience, American people, and the office of President. Blue jeans? Really?
It’s on!
And hopefully people will hear about Trumpâs support for the Obamacare mandate before they vote.
And the fact that Trump supported partial birth abortion last week.
I’m sure Tricky Teddy is cooking up the election day smears. He’ll be busted for it again, no doubt.
Fake poll to delude Cruz Glue sniffers.
Why in the world would they do that?
If one is to believe national polls, Hillary trails ALL the "other losers", but leads Trump in head-to-head. It makes MUCH more sense for Dems to boost Trump, not to hurt his chances.
“Lead Slashed” ..........
Amazing how a headline leads the reader in.
Polls close at 7 pm EST in South Carolina so actual results

Boycott Fox, send Murdoch packing back to Oz, where he came from! Murdoch take MGYN with you to Oz.

Based on the trajectory in Cruz numbers from this poll, if Ted does not win SC by at least 10-20 points it will be a total failure on Tedâs part. It will be over for him.
