Anyone who thinks this is something more than a nothingburger is mindlessly attacking Cruz. Rubio should find some sand. If his delicate sensibilities get ruffled over nothing like this in the primary, the democrats will pound him into dust in the general. Maybe he should go back to dancing at foam parties.
So why did the Cruz's campaign first deny it was a photoshop, and once the evidence made denials no longer an option, they replaced the photo with a different one?
Trump used a picture of the Morocco border in his immigration video, not Mexico.
Claiming the photoshopped stock photo is "authentic" and then claiming it's "common practice" is a ridiculous unforced error in a campaign fighting absolutely snowballing public perceptions of lying and sleaze.
This is what implosion looks like.

The point is thevery ISSUE which the photo was about got lost by the idiots who only saw a picture...and Rubio got his point for distraction...nobody's talking about the issue...just the photo. Gads people are fools.....

Agree. Its embarrassing how some cheer when their guy verbally trashes & slanders his opponents then recoil in horror over a mickey mouse photoshopped image.

LOL at so many things here. What’s next, Cruz photoshopping Rubio’s head on Hitler? I don’t even like Rubio, but I’m kind of starting to feel some sympathy toward him as the new favorite target of Cruz’s epic lie campaign.
The picture is photoshopped, which is bad enough. Then the Cruzbots come in and say it’s no big deal. Again. Then they hold out hope it wasn’t Cruz, because one of his guys initially said they didn’t do it. But that just means that guy is an idiot, because the friggin’ website has Cruz for President official branding right there on it.
Then the Cruz campaign admits it was them. But the Cruzbots ignore the lie and just go back to “no big deal” or “it’s just a metaphor”.

When the Cruz campaign first started with questionable tactics I’d hoped he was being ill served by his campaign staff. Ted cleans up his act right now before he damages himself further.
