ABOARD THE PAPAL AIRLINER -- Inserting himself into the Republican presidential race, Pope Francis on Wednesday suggested that Donald J. Trump "is not Christian" because of the harshness of his campaign promises to deport more immigrants and force Mexico to pay for a wall along the border.
"A person who thinks only about building walls, wherever they may be, and not building bridges, is not Christian," Francis said when a reporter asked him about Mr. Trump on the papal airliner as he returned to Rome after his six-day visit to Mexico.

The guy is a screwball, and it’s a tragedy that the cardinals didn’t select someone less goofy than Francis.

sorry Pontiff...but I will build a wall all day long, every day of the week and twice on Sundays, to keep evil away from my family.
For example, I will not build a bridge to allow evil to have unfettered access to \me or my family.
Would you build a bridge from maximum security block, where violent murderers and rapist are serving out their just sentence, to your living room?
...or to the prom where your 16 year old daughter is having her first dance?

The US has a duty to protect its borders and to only allow those people into the country who follow the laws the US has established.
There is NOTHING unchristian about doing so. In fact...it is refreshing, and an answer to this Christan's prayer.
Well, FWIW I’m beginning to develop a real disgust for this Commie Pope. He can stick his comments about America where the sun doesn’t shine! There isn’t a shrewd of holiness in “his holiness.”

I see the aggressive censorship of anything that is critical of Trump in the sidebar is continuing. It took less than 5 minutes before this thread was pulled from breaking and frontpage news.
I have always been respectful of the RCC, and will remain so, but they DID royally screw up by electing this guy. He’s an embarrassment to his position, to the Church.
He pushed the European open doors to “refugees” or “migrants” while hosting exactly ONE family that just happened to be Christians.
He is fully protected by Italian authorities on one side of the Vatican City and the Swiss Guard within. Unbelievable what he expects of US. He wants us to educate/fee/shelter those who would dishonor our sovereignty. Shame on him.
He is not MY idea of a Christian, either. White cap and robes notwithstanding.

Must be...can't find a word in Scripture about not building walls. But then again, can't find a word in Scripture about many things Catholics believe. Like having a pope.
I am almost daily amazed at the scope of the one world/one religion cabal. I keep trying to tell myself I’m being paranoid and then another high placed person, foreign and domestic, comes out attacking our plan to secure our border, to stop immigration to this country.
Silly to say it isn’t breaking news. So many other things get to stay there unchallenged. This is a pope slamming the beliefs of a presidential candidate. And the candidate replies. Breaking news.

Dear Lord, thank you, thank you for the Christians who surround me. They are not so ugly.
By the evidence, I would say neither the Pope or Trump are Christian.
It's a tradition for that church.
They've never gotten over the loss of their power when they were aligned with royalty and the priesthood was a great place to send the second and third born males. Those were great times. They could burn at the stake anybody who disagreed with them.
Of course they did do some good things, e.g., the Crusades.
If the Catholic Church wants to get involved in politics, than take away their Tax-Exemption.
