ABOARD THE PAPAL AIRLINER -- Inserting himself into the Republican presidential race, Pope Francis on Wednesday suggested that Donald J. Trump "is not Christian" because of the harshness of his campaign promises to deport more immigrants and force Mexico to pay for a wall along the border.

"A person who thinks only about building walls, wherever they may be, and not building bridges, is not Christian," Francis said when a reporter asked him about Mr. Trump on the papal airliner as he returned to Rome after his six-day visit to Mexico.

I believe in catholicism, and Catholicism has at many times in history not been very catholic.

Like those 7 Catholic churches in Asia that John wrote about in the last book of the Bible that Rome assembled long ago?

I’d call that a citizenship requirement, which if you do not meet, then you get deported (or more accurately, you never get in).

What separates heaven from hell? If not literally, a wall, then at least figuratively. So those not allowed into heaven are essentially kept from entering by that wall, and sent to the only “country” that will then take them, which is hell.

God supports the wall between heaven and earth. God built that wall. Therefore, under the Pope’s warped view of Christianity, God is “not a Christian”.

No...you are not. Jesus Christ, the Son of God is.

We have had this discussion many times over they years and my witness to you is always the same. So, in case you have forgotten (which I do not believe, but am willing to always give a sincere person the benefit of the doubt):

Jesus Christ is my personal Lord and Savior. I have accepted Him and His atonement in my life and He has saved me from my sins. I love Him and sincerely seek to live by His words and commandments.

He alone saves.

He alone is Christ the Lord, the Son of the living God.

He will judge regarding whether I am His or not...not you and the Pope.

And as He promised, He has sent the Holy Ghost as my comforter and guide in life.

Paul taught in I Cor 12: 3 the following

“...no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.”

I so profess Him to you now, Elsie, and know that He will be my Judge, my Advocate, and my Savior.

I will not contend with you Elsie...over my faith or anyone’s else’s.
