Donald Trump has taken a more than 20-point lead over U.S. Senator Ted Cruz of Texas in the Republican race for the presidential nomination, bolstering his position ahead of the party's primary in South Carolina on Saturday, according to a national Reuters/Ipsos poll.
Among Republicans, Trump, a billionaire businessman, drew 40 percent support in the poll conducted from Saturday to Wednesday, compared with 17 percent for Cruz, 11 percent for U.S. Senator Marco Rubio of Florida, 10 percent for retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson, and 8 percent for former Florida Governor Jeb Bush.

He has led since July.
Love him or hate him....you’re looking at your next POTUS here.
But in a key measure that no one is counting, anti-Trump articles post on FR outnumber pro-Trump articles by about 10-1.
That means Trump is going to lose in SC, and lose nationally.
In before the Cruzers cry “When’s the national primary?”. Oh I forgot, weren’t they touting the bogus NBC poll yesterday?
That’s my sense. Saw a report this morning that Hillary is back wearing glasses again. Possible concussion related vision problems from when she ‘disappeared’ last year?
Bernie Sanders is truly frightening. Let's hope that our side prevails, whether it is Trump or Cruz.
I have his sticker on my 4 Runner. With Indiana not voting until May, it will most likely be decided by then, or it usually is by then, who the candidate will be. A lot of people say he’s too “loose cannon” that I know. I look at it as he’s saying what I am thinking/feeling and I’d be a loose cannon if I got in the White House too! I have no patience for the PC police or the Black Lives Matter crap.
My take on the WSJ poll — owned by Rupert Murdoch — is that it was actually an anti-Cruz poll designed to elevate and then depress Cruz supporters who might go over to Rubio, and also to push establishment voters to consolidate behind Rubio. They will see Cruz as weakening.
The main reason I am supporting Trump is he is the only one talking about how to Make America Great again.
He talks about Immigration. A big problem in Our Country, with who knows what is crossing our borders. We have witnessed murders, raptists, gang people, and Muslim infidels that walk into a place and kill 14 people in Ca. And there have been others, Fort Hood...with this on top of new diseases cropping up all over, the newest one is Zika...
Our Veterans and Wounded Warriors are not being treated with the respect and care that they should be. They are treated worse than illegal immigrants...they get nothing in the way of food stamps, housing, and if you want to call what the Vets Hospitals across America is providing for them, I would think a Veternarian would provide better care. We do not give them the respect for protecting our Freedoms that they gave up their lives for and body parts for.
Our Economy is terrible. Our manufacturing jobs are going to Foreign Countries, so we are jobless. Ford is building a plan in Mexico; Nabisco is taking their plant to Mexico; Samsonite Luggage is in Mexico; Air Conditioners are now moving to Mexico and nothing coming back in form of money, and here sits the American Worker, working at Burger King for 4 hours in the morning, Artic Circle for 4 hours in the afternoon and another job at night for a few hours if their lucky....no health care, to costly, barely making the rent payment, buying food and gas for the car.
Health Care is to expensive and climbing higher almost every month. It was a joke on the American People in the first place by your President to begin with...and we all remember Nancy’s famous words: “Oh you have to vote on it before you know what is in it”...well we know what’s in it and we don’t like it...but the Insurance Companies and the Government love it....
Our inter structure is falling apart, our roads, our bridges, our power grids are collapsing, and if you don’t believe me on that, ever went thru a brown out in the Summer?
So here are the main reasons why my support goes to Trump, he’s a business man, a very rich business man that has built his American Dream and is willing to help America get back to her American Dream so her people can have better lives since Bush, Clinton, Clinton, Bush and obuma....lets make this America Great Again!!!

Those have to tough numbers for the establishment to digest.
The Trump/Cruz numbers are over 50% and we’re not counting Carson’s numbers.
The tribe has spoken. :-)
It shows no one believes the Establishment anymore.
I’m just glad Yeb! is out of contention
It’s pretty clear that if the establishment continues into Florida divided, then Trump is the victor.
And I WANT Cruz to be the runner up. I want the delegates to be initially committed to an anti-establishment candidate.
The most important number there is “win”.
The most interesting to me is “Take on establishment”.
That adds up only to 71%. That means other people were voting for Bush, Rubio, and Kasich to ‘take on the establishment’.
That’s laughable. Those voters are in another universe.
Although I actually heard Jeb Bush of all people claiming he’d be a thorn in the establishment’s side.
I had to look to see if he had a huge thorn sticking out of his own side. :>)
