Furthermore, the fact that Ted Cruz can't even get a majority in the primaries, in your opinion, translates into him winning handily against whomever the Democrat nominee is.

I for one am most interested in hearing your argument to support that assertion.

Trump has been able to get a pretty firm but roughly 35%. As long as there are five or six other candidates, Trump wins. If there is only one other candidate, that candidate wins. I believe this because I believe 65% of the Republicans will vote for any other candidate than Trump given that option. As soon as Kasich, Carson, and Bush do the right thing and get out the real leader will begin to emerge. That’s my impression. Cruz can get votes from Trump. Trump cannot get the votes of those whom he’s already alienated.
