To loosely use a saying by Patton:

A man with this many enemies deserves to be elected.

FWIW, I've expressed concern all along that Cruz doesn't lash out at the insider candidates, Jeb and Kasich, hardly at all.

In a multi-candidate race, it is usually a thrid party that benefits from an attack. If John Ellis Bush attacks Rubio, it is better for Rubio to have to counter, rather than Cruz doing Rubio's work for him. Rubio/John Ellis Bush/Kasich are chasing the same votes.

Trump breaks that mold, ebcause he can issue multiple attacks, and have them all covered by the news, etc. Most candidates don't have a larger than life persona that allows them to do this.

He makes mountebanks look bad; he gives logorrhea a bad name. But he’s the best covert liberal ever to ride to the rescue.

I always heard one of the biggest complaint about Bush was that he didn’t fight back. He just took whatever the left and the media threw at him and turned the other cheek.

I am imagining some of you here agreed with that policy, but there are a good many who didn’t.

I find it refreshing to see a candidate on the R side fight back. It has been many many years since I’ve seen that.

For too long the R’s have let the media set the tone and paint R politicians in whatever color they wanted. Trump is having none of it, and kudos to him.

Only a Nancy sits back and lets someone slap them around then asks for more.

He’s part of the system, especially when he’s getting money from the government.

Cruz is more of an insider than we have been led to believe.

First of all, if it were the Wall Street Chamberpots (Chamber of Commerce types) it would not be Ted's numbers going up. They hate him more than either of the demonrat candidates, even though the BERNMASTER would kill them.

2nd. Those other candidates pose no real threat to him as we head South. Marco appears ready to be the establishments boy. I'll put up the Cruz base vs the Chamberpot base anytime anywhere.

The “wild card” now is Trump and his ever evolving positions on EVERYTHING...EVERYTHING...and the tinfoil wrapped around his head via 9/11 whack-job conspiracy theories appears to be GETTING TIGHTER EVERYDAY!!!!

:-)

I would much rather a president who sticks up for himself than one, for instance, George W. Bush. Who never sticks up for himself and goes into retirement and hides from the public for 8 years!

He doesn’t like to lose...perhaps a good thing? No more losers for the USA! This is why I dumped 2 subscriptions to the Wall Street journal. Owned by Fox News.

Yet Fox News has given Trump more publicity and softball questions than any other news outlet.

I note he wasn’t whining when they had him up 13 pts last month.

As to losing he has plenty of experience losing, Trump U, Trump Steaks, Trump Mortgage, Trump Airlines, The USFL, 3 Trump Magazines. And the 4 Real Estate projects that went bankrupt.

The best boss I ever had in my career went by the dictum "trust (and verify) the resume".

I look at Trump's resume and find it completely believable that as he approaches 70, with his success, obvious love for his wife, children and grandchildren, and his USA-original personality, that he wants to save the US. I look at Rubio and see a person who was raised by the caliber of immigrants that make the US a better place, succeeded to the outer limits of expectations considering his environment, hasn't been afraid to take on the Bush dynasty which thought they owned him, and a wonderful family consistent with his environment, and which he doesn't use as campaign props. I look at Cruz and see a bit of a shyster and preacher with an Ivy League ties, a Goldman-Sachs wife whom he met while working with GWB, kids flaunted as props, some first-class sleaze running his campaign, and some real question marks about TPA and H1B visas.

That's why I'm for Trump/Rubio. Trump, the teacher who can convey to younger generations what the promise of America means. And Rubio as the most able to be mentored but still be his own man.

I doubt spelling it out will make any difference to Cruzers. The more they try, the less I like the candidate and that superiority complex they convey.

Trump's excesses? How else was he going to wake US citizens up to even know a campaign season was going on before it was a done deal? Is anyone remembering all the dirty tricks the in crowd tried to end his candidacy? The very fact that Trump persevered through that makes him the best candidate.

What politician can you compare him to? You can’t because he isn’t one, he’s in business and if anyone had the dealings he has had they’d have some failures too. The same with Ted, some folks hit him for his political failures. My problem is I want them both as president.

The WSJ is falling like a rock in value and is losing as a business since Murdoch took over.

Murdoch, the Australian billionaire socialist needs his to go in a way that gives Americans an opportunity to kick his ass down under. He’s nothing but trouble.

That headline takes wide liberty with the truth. That is not what Trump said, but if his words are not twisted the negative effect is diminished I suppose. Guess it works for Cruzers and those currently in power who stand to lose so much.

Go Trump!

Of course the WSJ has it out for Trump. They want to import all the illegals to drive down wages for profits. Trump will go after that.

The WSJ wants to send U.S. jobs over seas to Slave labor wages for profits.

The WSJ loves Money and NOT America.

I would like to add that in contrast to Trump, Ms. Hillary is give a pass by the media (with few exceptions such as Greta and Judge Jeanine). Trump’s use of some word received more agonizing analysis that her e-mails, Benghazi, speaker fees, foreign contributions to the Foundation, etc. Even on FR, who gets more criticism, Hillary or Trump?
