The Senate has to go into recess between the 114th and 115th Congresses. Count on Obie making an extremist recess appointment at that time as a last parting shot in the nu+s of America as he leaves office. When he does that, Congress should move quickly to impeach and remove the cancerous replacement.

No worries here, the Republicans will fold like a cheap tent and give Obama his way.

Yep. But I look for the Senate to refuse to fully adjourn.
There’s Supreme Court precedent allowing that in the NLRB case. If the Senate is not in recess, 0 can’t use that tactic.

They could stall and take a tactic from:

The IRS investigation, or
The State Dept on Hillary’s emails, or
The Benghazi investigation Democrats, or
Holder in the Fast and Furious subpoenas, or
FOIA requests, all of them, or
The IRS passing a conservative 501c3, or

...
you get the idea.

I think the post-Boehner leadership in Congress (House and Senate) will be more to our liking (not perfect).

I cannot believe that Mary Matalin would advise to do what Obama wants. I even doubt that the detestable Karl Rove would give that advice. He is not stupid.

Then I would say that you haven't paid attention to what those two and their GOPe buddies have been up to since the Reagan years. Matalin is a long-time Bush family adviser and is married to the enemy. She talks a good game in the media, but ultimately goes with the GOPe herd.

Rove is a complete imbecile and destructive force. He's the leader of the crowd always telling Republicans that the voters don't like when they're mean or divisive or racist. Those would be the same voters who seem to like when the Democrats do it, however. And don't forget it was Rove in 2010 who took out three Republican Senate candidates in a daily barrage of criticism in the media after they had the party's nomination in the general election. They were Sharon Angle in Nevada, Joe Miller in Alaska, and Christine O'Donnell in Delaware.
