JMHO. Legalizing invaders without a strict timeline to learn English and become citizens is the worst of both worlds. It is a caste system, second-class US residents who provide cheap labor and are limited in their ability to move up. Their children will be citizens, they'll get benefits, it won't send the message that someone is a criminal if they enter the US illegally.
Besides that, if it's done without stopping the invasion of the US, it will set a precedent and it will never end.
