U.S. Rep. Gwen Moore from Wisconsin continued her attack against her pro-life colleagues this week after they asked her and other African American leaders why they are not standing up for the unborn black babies who are often aborted.
The Congresswoman wrote a column for the Washington Post Tuesday criticizing pro-life legislators for using the âBlack Lives Matterâ phrase to call for protections for unborn babies targeted by the abortion industry. The column, âDear conservatives: Abortion clinics donât âtargetâ the black community,â is her latest attack against fellow Wisconsin U.S. Rep. Sean Duffy. In January, Duffy called out African American legislators for not acting to curb the disproportionately high number of African American babies who are aborted. Duffy was later labeled a âracistâ for speaking up for unborn babies.
Moore wrote that she is âinfuriatedâ by pro-lifers who use the phrase âBlack Lives Matter,â claiming that they are âdemeaning women of colorâ who have abortions.
She continued:
The inability or outright refusal to recognize the barriers black women encounter in accessing quality prevention services and reproductive care walks the line between sheer blindness and malice.
Black Lives Matter is a critical component to our shared struggle for reproductive rights. It extends far beyond the realm of deadly interactions with police and economic inequality. It is a means to amplify our voices against injustice and to empower our communities. It provides an opportunity for those to shape a future worthy of their highest aspirations, free of political paternalism and discrimination.
This social justice movement means something to us.
Yet, even Moore could not avoid mentioning the fact that abortions are disproportionately high in the black community. As Duffy pointed out in January to pro-abortion legislators like herself, African American women in New York City have more abortions than lives births. Moore claimed that pro-lifers are âexploitingâ the statistics.

âTheir goal is to intimidate and inflict trauma while limiting the health care choices for pregnant women in need,â Moore wrote. âNo one denies that the abortion rate in black communities is higher than in white communities, but failing to mention the underlying context behind those numbers demonstrate a disturbing lack of awareness of the impact of poverty and the realities faced by black women in America.â
Moore cited a study that found the lack of economic security was one of the primary reasons why many women said they sought or had abortions.
But Moore does not follow her own conclusion to its end. Pro-lifers readily agree that poverty is a reason why many women have abortions. Many studies have confirmed economic instability is a major factor in womenâs decision to abort their unborn babies. Thatâs one of the reasons why pro-lifers run thousands of pregnancy centers across the country. These organizations provide financial and emotional assistance to women and their families. These can include diapers, maternity clothes, food, temporary shelter, housing and medical assistance and much more.
Duffy said he wants to work with Moore and other legislators to offer hope and non-violent solutions to black families who face difficult or unplanned pregnancies. But Mooreâs allegiance is to abortion groups who have supported her election.
Moore has been a vocal supporter of Planned Parenthood in the past, even though Planned Parenthood and many other abortion clinics provide few, if any, options other than abortion to women in poverty.
If Moore truly believes that poverty is the problem thatâs causing extremely high abortion rates in the black community, why isnât she supporting the groups that offer to help lift women out of poverty, rather than the ones that just abort their unborn babies?
Someone should read this woman the quote from Margaret Sanger, the founder of Planned Parenthood and what she thought about black people
I bet she already knows.
Never let the truth get in the way of an agenda.Truth? We need no truth! Who the hell are you to get in the way of our blindness?
Keep reminding them:
Black aborted (murdered) babies lives matter (murdered by their black mothers) and of course all aborted babies lives matter who were aborted (murdered) by their mothers of all different races.
If anyone reading this has had an abortion...please run to Almighty God and ask for His forgiveness. He loves you and so let Him heal you and bring you to the place where you will not ever do this again.
It’s not about Black Lives Matter — it’s about Culture Matters.
And sadly, Black babes along with millions of others are violently expunged from existence because “Culture Matters.”
Here’s something I learned about a month ago.
The whole ROE vs. WADE case was totally fraudulent.
There was no JANE ROE. Made up name.
Norma McCovey wasn’t raped. She wanted an abortion because she was getting divorced. She didn’t go through with the abortion.
I.e., stop pretending 'Black Lives Matter', when the ones using that catch phrase ignore the Planned Parenthood butchers, and black on black murderers.
I guess the Congresswoman, Moore, has an agenda to pitch and she is keeping to the script.
Not to nitpick but, technically, they don’t die; they’re killed.
And proceeds for the mass murder of black babies go to fund the black Butcher-in-Chief, Barack Obama, and Black Panther defender Hillary Clinton--all aborted black lives matter to Hillary and Obama's pocketbooks.
The tire slasher queen had someone write something in her name. I have never understood why black districts just keep on ‘re electing the same idiots over and over, when I am sure the same districts have very wise and capable people of integrity who could take Moore, Waters, Sheila Jackson Lee, out in a primary?

This isn’t a Black district. There aren’t enough Blacks in WI to get a single Congressional district. It’s an urban leftist district, 55% White, 33% Black. It hasn’t elected a Republican since 1946.
Gwen Moron is one of the dumbest persons on this planet. IMHO
Planned Parenthood’s founder, Margaret Sanger, most definitely did target black babies.
She knows and she’s sold out.
Moore’s Milwaukee district is just north Chicago. I lived in Wisconsin. Milwaukee is to Wisconsin as Philadelphia is to Pennsylvania and Houston is to Texas.
Black tires matter.
I’m familiar with Milwaukee. Some of my ancestors were early Wisconsin settlers in adjacent Waukesha County.
