Donald Trump can't keep his Midwesterners straight.
At a campaign stop in South Carolina on Tuesday, Trump repeatedly referred to retired neuosurgeon Ben Carson as "Obama."
"What Ted Cruz did to Obama, where he said that Obama had quit the race and take our votes," Trump began to say before being corrected by his audience.
In fact, he was referring to an incident in which members of Cruz's campaign spread reports suggesting that Carson was dropping out of the race on the day of the Iowa caucuses. People in the crowd started yelling that it was Carson.
"Right? Is that right?" asked Trump shrugging, before realizing his mistake.
"I'm sorry. Carson. Carson. He said that -- Obama. Obama should've quit the race," Trump said, catching himself.
Trump's dig at President Obama prompted laughter and applause from the crowd. "Wouldn't that have been nice," Trump said.
Obama hails from Chicago and his mother was from Kansas. Carson was born in Detroit. Both men are African-American.
He corrected himself. Dear God - this is a nothing burger.I love the smell of desperation in the morning.
All politicians look alike.
TRUMP needs a night in his own bed. Even a rocket needs to refuel.
I like how Politico puts the “both men are african-americans” at the end, so liberal snowflakes are guaranteed to be triggered.
My guess is Trump is getting very tired from talking all the time. Saturday can’t come soon enough for all the candidates, I suspect. No rest for the weary.
Was this the same rally where he tried to attack Cruz’s honesty using a false quote that had already been publically repudiated. Trump is the biggest hypocrite I have ever seen.

I love how the Establishment media attacks Trump but ignore the obvious flaws of many other candidates.
The more they attack Trump the more I like Trump.
The Establishment Media does not understand how much they are disliked. They are without a doubt in bed with the DNC and GOP Establishment. It’s disgusting.
