I do not like Hillary. But there is a very bad cold with cough going around that leads to pneumonia very quickly. Even on IV antibiotics with pneumonia caused by this cold virus (not a flu) from hell, there can be coughing jags for weeks. I have had this for 3.5 weeks. (I wasn’t the one who got pneumonia from it, that was my poor mom). Normal people can start a coughing jag and stop talking. But if you are supposed to be giving a speech... You have to keep trying.

Could be. But whatever the cause, it was a coughing fit, and the CNN correspondent lied to cover for her by saying Hillary got “choked up.”
Speculation is a more severe throat problem, likely made worse by alcohol. She’s had at least three spasms like this in public, the earliest last August, again in November.
This is not the first time in recent weeks that she’s had these extended coughing fits.
A cold that lasts for months? Sounds like a serious health problem.
