(Ken Crow) Tea party leader jilts Trump for Bush: ‘Enough is enough’
Washington Times ^ | February 16, 2016 | S.A. Miller

The founder of the Tea Party of America has abandoned Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump and thrown his support behind Jeb Bush in an effort to boost the establishment candidate's struggling bid for the nomination.

Ken Crow, who founded one of the first national tea party organizations in opposition to the policies of Presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama, was an outspoken supporter of Mr. Trump this election cycle until he was repulsed by the billionaire businessman and reality TV star's volatile personality and crude antics on the stump.

"I was on the Trump train but enough is enough," Mr. Crow told The Washington Times, announcing his dizzying realignment from the rebellious Mr. Trump to the ultimate establishment figure of Mr. Bush, a former Florida governor.

I have a close friend who is admiring of Trump but has just told me they are really pissed about Trump blaming 9/11 on Bush.

Whether Trump actually DOES “blame” Bush for it or not doesn’t matter-—that is the impression. And in my friend’s words, “He needs to get off of that and go on to something positive.”

He may lose a vote if he keeps beating that drum.

Is Tea Party of America one of those fake Tea party groups always sending scare emails about what Obama is up to now and asking for money to fight him? I get about seven of those a day from various senders with Tea Party, Freedom or Conservative as part of their title. They all want money.

OK, I googled this guy.

Apparently he was a co-founder of an Iowa group in the spring of 2011, but he quit in the fall of 2011, after his miserable failure to hold one rally.

I wonder how much Jeb paid, thinking he was buying Tea Party endorsement?

anytime someone says they are a leader in the “tea party”, they are an opportunist for their own personal glory

I was an original member and board member of my local TEA party on Staten Island and I’ve never heard of most of these people and don’t care what they have to say. This endorsement proves my point.

Okay. I get it now. A power seeker who probably offered Trump his “services” in some “public” form and got brushed off. Nothing more angry than a self-promoted personality scorned.

Anyone can call himself a ‘Tea Party Leader’.

Sorry Don, but you are too generous. He doesn’t have the taste or class to drink single malt. Heard him speak a year or so ago, didn’t care for his pitch. Never the less, spoke with him afterward and confirmed my suspicions. He’s just another joker riding on the gravy train. Just had a different twist.

Just a guess, but he's probably a DC insider who trademarked the name and bought some mailing lists, which he probably funded with Republican Super PAC money.

I wouldn't rule out him being an opportunist who saw the Tea Party go viral and jumped on the bandwagon to get rich.

Jeb just made him a better offer is all.

I’m no Trump horn, but Mr. Crow is fake from top to bottom!

“Tea Party of America” is not in any way the TEA Party.

It is a fraudulent establishment group, and that is why he supported Trump in the first place.

He was counting on Trump to be a Uniparty establishment operative, but when Trump went insane he jumped to Bush.

“Tea Party of America” is not in any way the TEA Party.

It is a fraudulent establishment group, and that is why he supported Trump in the first place. Trump was looking like a reliable establishment shill until he went insane Saturday.
.
Ken Crow never embraced TEA Party ideals in any way, and neither does Trump.

Ken Crow is no “Tea Party founder.”

He is the founder of a shill org intended to demolish the TEA Party ideals.

.
The only “chasm between Trump and Bush” is that Trump has shown himself unreliable to the establishment uniparty that launched his candidacy in the MSM.

Otherwise they are peas in the big uniparty pod.
