The founder of the Tea Party of America has abandoned Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump and thrown his support behind Jeb Bush in an effort to boost the establishment candidate's struggling bid for the nomination.
Ken Crow, who founded one of the first national tea party organizations in opposition to the policies of Presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama, was an outspoken supporter of Mr. Trump this election cycle until he was repulsed by the billionaire businessman and reality TV star's volatile personality and crude antics on the stump.
"I was on the Trump train but enough is enough," Mr. Crow told The Washington Times, announcing his dizzying realignment from the rebellious Mr. Trump to the ultimate establishment figure of Mr. Bush, a former Florida governor.

Winner!
This guy?
The co-founder of an Iowa-based Tea Party group who was thrust into the national spotlight two months ago has resigned his position with the organization. Ken Crow, chairman of the Tea Party of America, stepped down last week. Crow gained notoriety following some missteps in the handling of Sarah Palin’s appearance at a TPoA event in September.
“Due to philosophical differences and opinions, I decided it was best to pursue other avenues in the Tea Party movement,” Crow told TheIowaRepublican.com. “It wasn’t a break up. I’m the founder of it and I decided it wasn’t best that I hang around anymore, so I resigned as chairman of the board and founder and walked away.”

I wish Jim Gilmore would have stayed in. Then we would at least had a clear choice with eligibility unquestioned.
This steaming turd DOES NOT SPEAK FOR ALL OF US!
GIBBERING JEB? REALY.
Somebody needs to tell this IDIOT that he needs to step away from the wet bar, the bong, or the bribes.
I am a CRUZ guy myself, but I would vote for my dog JACK (and he’s dead) befor I would ever vote for Gibbering Jeb.
Professional attention whore.
Or just proof that establishment money types glommed onto the tea party and started organizations using that name...
So many claim that mantle and turned into these ‘professional’ organizations trying to tap into the most genuine movement of the people in decades.
As far as I’m concerned, the ONLY candidate that has stayed true to the principles that I hold as Tea Party values is Dr. Carson. Sadly, he isn’t going to make it, at least this time, even though in my heart, he’s the one I’d like.
Crow’s decision was caw-caw.
Now...defecting to Yeb! - when it comes to unintended humor I do believe we've hit the motherlode here. Who could possibly be more a Tea Partier than a guy who believes in illegal immigration amnesty and big government? I wonder if I should budget for that $75 guacamole bowl after all...
There is, and there never was, a “Tea Party.” And this clown proves it.
Bwahahahaha. I true Tea Party person would not support Bush. End of story.
I find it odd too. Just shows “Tea Party” can mean more than it used to.
The fix is in. Now we will see Jeb's numbers go up and Trump go down.
Saturday night, when they call it for Jeb, they will point to GW, this nitwit and a few others that some how swayed SC to vote for this JA.
He's been an establishment guy all along. As with everything else in life: follow the money. Which brings up two questions:
1. What was in it for him, when he "founded" the Tea Party?
2. What's in it for him throwing his support behind Bush?
Again, as with everything in life, "follow the money."
You're joking, right?
