Why should anyone be surprised that when we, the taxpayers are asked to pay their medical bills, we don't require them to give up their assets in return. Welfare is for indigents. When people are not indigent, and still ask us to pay their bills, they should not expect free money.

The only reason for complaint here is that it's Obama who's demanding that they sign up, and it's Obama that's taking their assets. They should complain about his policy, not taxpayers.

Because people are being prevented from buying free market driven reasonably priced insurance to protect their assets, and instead are left at the mercy of the healthcare-government-industrial complex whose aim is to part the middle class from the only source of exploitable wealth, their homes.
