If none of it is illegal to own, then this guy should have a compelling case against the authorities.

I don't know about NY but in MA, to have those firearms loaded and not secured is against the law. But, I imagine NY is far stricter than that.

So he is probably being charged along those lines. Unless any of the firearms prove to be stolen and not obtained according to NY's Draconian gun laws.

These folks that think you need a three lock door, a trigger lock, and a gun safe or you are in violation, are nuts.
