Tough to argue, given polling. Not sure how well "ball-busting" goes with the Resolute desk however.

I bet all the commie-libs in SC are voting Trump. It’s an open primary. Great strategy. He will reward the traitors because he knows that his fan-boys will support him no matter what.

Most politicians are ill equipped to deal with him because saying what they actually think is the most foreign thing from the minds. Their whole upbringing, careers and political lives have been built around political expediency, deceit, duplicity and lying to constituents about how they voted is actually good for them, the sheep.

There's a time and place for every kind of language. The language I heard and used on the gun line isn't the same stuff I later heard and used in a courtroom.

Some people get that, and some don't.

Winning a primary with 35% isn’t winning. It’s just losing with the highest result.

Unfortunately we’ve become a nation of majority, low caliber, dumb ash holes. No president can fix it__ only stem the tide or make it far worse like the last 8 years.

The common everyday American lives paycheck to paycheck. They have more credit card debt than they can pay off in 2 years. They have less than $500 in the bank. A large car repair bill would likely cause them to miss a house payment. Yep... these are the trump supporters.

The same people who watch his reality show or Jerry Springer. He has their vote sewed up.

And that's the fallacy in the design of our country. We let idiots vote.

Poor sad sacks, must put Trump, our next President, down. You would think that the masses of people would understand Trump is destroying the ruling elite class of criminals that have destroyed much of America.

Trump for President.

I’m amazed at the RINO hate towards Trump supporters.

Those who don’t support Trump are those on the left of the republican party.

Cruz is toast, in the end my guy wins. And those leftist whining RINO’S will lose and be whining.

There’s a lot to be said for pointing out that your opponent is well, worthless. :-)

Trump has them beaten intellectually, morally, in the polling and in enthusiasm. Their daily hissy fits become more disingenuous by the hour. If we are to avoid becoming Venezuela II it will be because of Trump, not our betters at NRO. Tiresome.

I grew up in Jersey about 10 miles from NYC. This is how young males interact with each other. Think young Italian guys living in the Bronx circa 1950s or any movies you’ve ever seen depicting young guys hanging around “the block” street racing.

Trump understands it. Sissified pundits like George Will don’t.

they're only now realizing that much of what Trump's been doing is just busting balls.

Submariners have been doing this from the beginning. Can't take some s4it, can't keep focused on keeping the thing from sinking - then get off my boat!

A few mintues of good harassment can sort out who are the girly men really quickly.

Two rules - 1. Payback is a [expletive deleted] and 2. I will exercise rule 1 at a time and place of my choosing.

Agreed.

It is not only classless it is puerile.

I guess these qualities have more appeal now than in the past.

In my opinion, it is the result of cultural changes we’ve seen in the past 10-20 years (accelerated).

“Reality TV” is just one example of how this degradation has been implemented.

...just sayin’

This is what is going on. If they only read his books they would know what is happening.

Fight Back

Much as it pays to emphasize the positive, there are times when the only choice is confrontation. In most cases I’m very easy to get along with. I’m very good to people who are good to me. But when people treat me badly or unfairly or try to take advantage of me, my general attitude, all my life, has been to fight back very hard. The risk is that you’ll make a bad situation worse, and I certainly don’t recommend this approach to everyone. But my experience is that if you’re fighting for something you believe in— even if it means alienating some people along the way— things usually work out for the best in the end.

When the city unfairly denied me, on Trump Tower, the standard tax break every developer had been getting, I fought them in six different courts. It cost me a lot of money, I was considered highly likely to lose, and people told me it was a no-win situation politically. I would have considered it worth the effort regardless of the outcome. In this case, I won— which made it even better.

When Holiday Inns, once my partners at the Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City, ran a casino that consistently performed among the bottom 50 percent of casinos in town, I fought them very hard and they finally sold out their share to me. Then I began to think about trying to take over the Holiday Inns company altogether.

Even if I never went on the offensive, there are a lot of people gunning for me now. One of the problems when you become successful is that jealousy and envy inevitably follow. There are people— I categorize them as life’s losers— who get their sense of accomplishment and achievement from trying to stop others. As far as I’m concerned, if they had any real ability they wouldn’t be fighting me, they’d be doing something constructive themselves.

Well, let’s see. ‘I’m going to keep busting your balls over (insert issue here) because I am resolute in my determination to do the job the people put me here to do.’

I think it goes quite well with the desk.

The ones now complaining about not sticking to the issues are the first ones to not stick to the issues...Trump surprised them by not cowering as they would do but rather effectively striking back.

Now they're begging to get back to the issues. Unfortunately for them, in most cases THEY are responsible for "the issues" that need to be talked about.
