One of many reasons for concealed carry. Should not need license for that. Agreed. I always thought it should be the opposite of the way it is now. No license needed for concealed carry. License needed for open carry.

I prefer concealed carry because it is a tactical advantage. Having said that, if one is going to open carry, then one should deport himself like a description I read once about Wild Bill Hickok- “He always walked into a room, looking from side to side like a mad old bull.”
