RESPONSE TO THE LIES OF SENATOR CRUZ
facebook.com ^ | February 15 | Donald J. Trump

Posted on 02/15/2016 8:47:24 PM PST by Helicondelta

Ted Cruz is a totally unstable individual. He is the single biggest liar I've ever come across, in politics or otherwise, and I have seen some of the best of them. His statements are totally untrue and completely outrageous. It is hard to believe a person who proclaims to be a Christian could be so dishonest and lie so much.

Cruz said I would be appointing a liberal judge when in fact I will appoint a great conservative and I am the only candidate who has gone so far, at the debate, as to suggest two individuals I feel would best represent the conservative values we need to protect: William "Bill" Pryor Jr. and Diane Sykes.

Cruz says I am pro-choice, when in fact I am staunchly pro-life and have been for a long time. Like Ronald Reagan, on many issues, I have evolved.

Cruz says I am in favor of ObamaCare, when in fact I have spoken about repealing and replacing this disaster of a system at every speech throughout my campaign and since it's inception. Meanwhile, Cruz was responsible for getting Bush to put in the judge that failed to vote against ObamaCare twice.

Cruz says I will try to take away your second amendment rights, when I am one of the strongest proponents of the right to bear arms and I say so in every speech that I have made for years. I am a proud member of the NRA and so are my sons.

Cruz has become unhinged and is lying with the hopes that his statements will go unchecked until after the election and he will save his failing campaign.

In Iowa, Cruz told thousands of Ben Carson voters that Dr. Carson had left the race and to instead vote for Ted Cruz. He apologized when the race was over. Likewise, his fraudulent voter violation form sent to Iowa voters. If Ted is going to continue to lie with such desperation, I have no choice but to fight back.

One of the ways I can fight back is to bring a lawsuit against him relative to the fact that he was born in Canada and therefore cannot be President. If he doesn't take down his false ads and retract his lies, I will do so immediately. Additionally, the RNC should intervene and if they don't they are in default of their pledge to me.

I am the strongest on the borders and I will build a wall, and it will be a real wall. I am strongest on illegal immigration, strongest on ISIS, strongest on the military and I will take care of our Vets. I will end common core and preserve the second amendment. I will renegotiate our trade deals and bring our jobs back to our country. I am the only person who will Make America Great Again

He has no soul, honor, credibility, honesty or trust. He will get his due when he goes to hell.

You stay classy, there, biff.

So you are going to defend liberalism if and when it becomes the face of the Republican party? At some point you have to be willing to admit you were wrong, if it comes to that.

Let’s hope I’m wrong. But... the first time you banned me it was for arguing that the Iraq war was liberalism in action, an attempt to do to other countries what liberals have been doing to our own inner cities the last 50 years. (Think of all the Bush rhetoric about transforming Iraqi society into a western democracy.) I don’t claim to be a foreign policy genius, but I think on this point I nailed it, and the outcome has been devastating.

Deal with it. Think about what you're doing.

But for lies -- if those are alleged to be about what Cruz has been saying about Trump's past positions and recent reversal/hedging after shooting off his mouth, it's Trump who is the font of non-stop lying.

When he get's called on it, he turns bully-boy. It's like he got into the race just to ruin it so thoroughly that the barking B The Hildabest can win, even though more than half the nation despises her,and the DNC knows it.

So they sent Trump.

Ted Cruz cannot be President because he is ineligible. Deal with it.

There’s an old saying, “Don’t let the perfect drive out the good.” I see a lot of that around FR when it comes to this particular horse race. Remember, the main thing is to beat the Democrats. Many of us may prefer a more conservative candidate; but if a less conservative GOP is who gets nominated, we need to stay focused on electing whomever against Hillary or Bernie. Either of them will end this nation forever and have been dreaming of it with glee all their adult lives.

I already know that.

What I have questions about is his mothers citizenship at the time she moved to Canada. She was divorced from a Brit with the name of Wilson. I read an article about him: he is living in England and so is their daughter. Unfortunately I cannot remember their first names.

It sounds as though Eleanor Darragh Wilson may have become a British subject which would have enabled her to start a business in Canada, as only Canadians or British Subjects could have started a business in Canada.

Remember, the main thing is to beat the Democrats.

I wish that rule were in effect for the Republican primary.

Not much chance of being without a Bible. Here's an article from 2011, before he was running:

You know that Trump's mentor, the guy who taught Trump to be as vile as him, was a homo who died of AIDS, right?

Would you please post a name and preferably a link to this information?

Cruz is pointing out that for his entire adult life up until last June, Trump had been consistently Pro-Choice, Pro Big Government, Anti-2A and a whole bunch of other positions consistent with being a run-of-the-mill New York businessman.

And those claims are wrong or inaccurate. That is the problem here. See section 3 of post 152 above, just for starters, in which Trump explained his rejection of partial-birth abortion in July, 2000. PBA had only been invented in 1983 and only reached the public's attention around the year 2000. So once he researched it, he rejected it pretty quickly. What other real estate construction boss do you know of who concerns himself with the details of feminist policies? He hadn't been familiar; but as soon as he was, he changed position. That does not qualify as "for his entire adult life" on any measure whatsoever.

As to the claims of being against the 2A, that is plain ludicrous.

Sessions said that Trump was given the SCOTUS pick names so Trump could pander to Sessions? I just want to clearly understand.

The establishment then was the same as today. Karl Rove told Rep Tom Tancredo who battled the cheap labor establishment over illegal immigration, that he didn’t want Tancredo’s shadow to ever darken the door to the White House.

Karl Rove was a magnificent establishment political bastard then as now. The difference is that in 12 years the public has awoken as it can’t be fooled forever. The Parties aren’t necessarily your friend as I’ve stated on my profile since day one here.

if he gets a wall built it'd be a good thing, but also IMO, beyond the wall I think the rest of his presidency could turn into an Establishment wet dream.

Even if that were the case, it would be a better dream than a Hillary or Bernie dream, and a better dream than an Obama-ValJar-Muslim Brotherhood dream. That's what we'd get with Hillary. Trump may be too centrist, but he's no shari'a sympathizer.
