Here we are in a Republican primary, and Donald Trump, out of the blue, starts blaming the Bush family for 9/11, for knowing that the intelligence was made up, that there never were any weapons of mass destruction, and they knew it, Trump said.

On the stage at a Republican debate, Donald Trump defended Planned Parenthood. Not the abortion stuff, he said, but the fact that they do great things for women’s health. Folks, there were a number of occasions where Donald Trump sounded like the Daily Kos blog, where Donald Trump sounded like the Democrat Underground, sounded like any average host on MSNBC.

The media is trying to tell us Trump is crazy but he's playing chess again. He's up by double digits pretty much everywhere and the media tells us he's 'stalled'. Nope, he is now taking steps towards the General election.
Trump is looking ahead. The other candidates really are still fighting for second place.
I do not hate Rush. I tuned him out about 10 years ago as waste of time. Apparently, he has passed the waste of time and has entered trying to tell those who listen to him to vote for a RNC/GOPE approved candidate as posted on this forum.
I do detest those, who hire people like him to mislead voters with half a mind and bring in illegals when promising not to. The same people promise that their candidates will be.

I do think that he “plays it safe” usually, but I would never accuse him of being a leftist shill. I don’t even much blame him for playing safe-he’s not a politician, though he has some sway in conservative thought and as a spokesman, but he wouldn’t even have that platform if the left could honestly show that he’d gone off the rails as an “extremist”. I know that I and many have wished he would be a stronger, less cagy voice, but I also understand why he’s not sometimes, he would lose the influence he has now, as it is they can’t honestly write him off as “lunatic fringe” no matter what they pretend, so he gets away with a good bit anyway.
