‘Millions’ of Republicans Say Iraq War was a ‘Disaster’: Laura Ingraham Supports Trump
Impulse today ^ | Feb.15, 2016 | Derek Flynn

Laura Ingraham, who is a conservative radio host, gave a warning to the GOP presidential candidates that they should stop defending the actions of President George W. Bush because "millions and millions" of Republican voters believe the Iraq War that he got the United States into was a mistake.

During the CBS hosted GOP Republican presidential debate last Saturday night, GOP presidential frontrunner Donald Trump accused George W. Bush of lying about Iraq having weapons of mass destruction.

"Obviously, the war in Iraq was a big, fat mistake, all right?" Trump said. "They lied. They said there were weapons of mass destruction. There were none, and they knew there were none."

These comments by Trump come just two days before George W. Bush goes out to campaign for his younger brother, Jeb Bush, in South Carolina.

The hosts of Fox News were told by Ingraham that Trump's criticism of Bush was risky, but also a very calculated strategy.

"He's thinking that there are millions and millions of Republican voters who have had the luxury of time to look back on whether the war in Iraq was really a good idea," Ingraham explained. "And all the money we spent, and all the men and women we lost. And I think a lot of Republicans -- the establishment doesn't like to hear this -- millions and millions of Americans probably agree with Trump."

"This was a disaster for the United States," Ingraham added. "We've lost influence in the Middle East; we've toppled dictators who probably had their finger on the dice of what was going to be a flood of tumult. And he's betting that people aren't going to just reject the Republican Party of today, they're going to reject the Republican Party of the Bushes.'"

"If they think they are going to re-litigate the Iraq war throughout the United States in this primary process and that's going to end well for them, I don't think it is."

More and more Republicans are catching on that the Bushes have been a crime family for well over a century. They have been war profiteers and warmongers. W’s wars were just the latest installment. Previous Bushes—and the Harrimans, Rockefellers, et al.—set up Lenin, and Hitler, and Stalin, as business partners.

It’s time to purge the Republican Party and the U.S. of these crime families.

Get JEB! AND THE BUSH CRIME FAMILY by Roger Stone and Saint John Hunt.

“Why did he go into Iraq?”

I have heard it was to get Saddam for threatening to kill his “daddy.” If so, he traded “revenge for his daddy” for 5,000 or so of our young men and women, to say nothing of pissing away $2 billion he had to borrow from the Red Chinks.

Many confuse two separate questions about the Iraq war.
1. Should we go to war?
2. If we go to war, do we have a winning strategy?

The answer to #1:

. . . Never start a war unless you have a good strategy.

The answer to #2:

. . . The Neo-cons did not have strategy, let alone a good one. They had a first move in the chess game: Namely Depose Sadam.

Then what? They had no plan as to what to do.

Neo-Cons did not learn from the mistakes of LBJ-McNamara about VietNam. The Whiz kids believed that if you threw enough money and manpower at a problem, you are bound to win. The Neo-Cons said the US had the best fighting force in the world and therefore positive outcome in Iraq was inevitable.

Curiously, political campaigns can be compared to war. Just because a candidate or movement has the most people does not mean they will win.

Good strategy and good tactics are necessary to win.

The BS Bush pulled with his amnesty should have turned any ‘conservative’ off. Bringing radical Muslims like Suhail Khan and letting Grover Norquist form his immigration/Trade policy and allowing him to put those Muslims in the White House should have finished off Bush.

Days after 9/11, Bush went to a Mosque and declared that “Islam is a religion of peace”

If his father was Barack Hussein Obama Sr., as claimed, then President Obama is not descended from any American slave.

Trump knows how to get everyone’s attention, and when he does it is about a subject that millions talk about behind closed doors. He is drawing puss to the surface of the wounds and waiting to see what the public will do about it. He brings the frustrated out into the light to face the mess our that milktoast representatives have gotten us into.

The funny thing is that Bush never refuted this point. In fact he never said anything bad about Obama (Seven years and counting), but can come out of retirement and trash Cruz. Don’t know if he trashed Trump, but I’m sure he will.

Thank you for providing a source of your statement. Trumps reasoning is a solid follow through of his belief that Bush lied about WMD’s. Did Bush ACTUALLY lie?
I saw satellite pictures of lines of trucks supposedly leaving an IRAQ weapons dump with WMD’s on their way to Libya. And some say that Bush was lied to.
I have seen the pictures of Bush holding the Saudi Kings hand and kissing him on the mouth. My take is that Bush had too many friends that are not our friends.
Proving he lied before congress would be very hard to accomplish, so for Trump to say that he lied is a bit presumptuous.

Prescott Bush one of the founders and original treasurer of planned parenthood. His Margaret Sangor opinions no doubt influenced JEBs decision to allow Terry Salvoe to die.

Well said. The usual cadre of politicians talk in such generalities as to numb the public. Trump is not afraid to touch the third rail on all kinds of subjects that warrant discussion.

Considering the fact the Congress gave him the thumbs up. Kind of a far left leaning reach to say he should have been impeached. Then blaming Bush for 9/11? Come on now. He’s really hitting from left field on this stuff.

For some people, misleading is not equal to lying. It is a tight line they walk to meet the narrative.
