MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. â
Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump said Monday that the Republican party is breaking its pledge to stay neutral while pouncing on GOP rivals who attacked him at a weekend debate.
âI have never met people like politicians. They are the most dishonest people I have ever met,â the New York billionaire said during a stop at Mount Pleasant hotel on Monday. âThey lie, lie, lie and then they apologize.â
Trump suggested that the Republican National Committee was not honoring a pledge to not hurt his campaign if the businessman promised not to mount a third-party presidential run

Where exactly in the article is the actual quote saying "I May Run as 3rd Party Candidate" as your post suggests? He never says this, hints, or even mentions running for a 3rd PartyYou Cruz supporters are exactly like your messiah ... Lie and Distort Facts.
"I signed a pledge, but it's a double-edged pledge. As far as I'm concerned, they're in default on their pledge,"
Are saying that this is not a hint and a threat to run third party? "The pledge" was a pledge not to run third party, was it not?

The pledge was to support whoever won the nomination, not to forego running third party. The premise of the article is a fiction. Clinton School of Linguistic Parsing Honor Grad

I seem to remember that several states have “sore loser” laws that prohibit a Candidate who qualifies for the ballot in a primary election from seeking the office as an independent in the general election? Does anyone know if my memory on this is correct.

Yeah, well, that happens when mouth is engaged before looking for the text of the pledge. Mea culpa. Memory told me that the pledge was to support the eventual nominee, and that was that.

So, this entire thread of almost 200 posts, the Trump supporters are screeching that Trump didn't mean what he clearly meant and that the press and Cruz supporters are LIARS!!!! because they misconstrued and misrepresented what Trump clearly meant.
So, tomorrow, or the next day, when Trump comes right out and says that he'll run as a third party candidate because the RNC is a bunch of big meanies, to what lengths in a 200 post thread will you Trump supporters go to justify his running 3rd party, say it's the right thing to do, and dismiss the consequences to the general election?
