>>Who knew that 77% of South Carolinians hated Jesus and America?

They were the first to secede, so the Federal Democratic Republic of Washington DC is not their favorite nation, ya know. They also don’t like being forced into a little box like “If you don’t like this candidate, then you hate Jesus.”

“He never supported it for one second.”

So Cruz was LYING back in 2013 when he said he wanted it to pass...that also supports Trump assertion that Cruz lies.

“Pre-debate, so it has little meaning.”

I think you’ll find that Trump’s bombastic New York approach doesn’t work so well here in SC.

That poll actually shows Cruz has a very real chance of winning here, since it included Dems and Independents who mostly won’t be voting the primary. Cruz also has a superior ground game to Trump.

We’ll see how things play out pretty soon here... :-)

"Actually I’m a Trump guy, but for me, Cruz is second. I just don’t think Cruz can win in the general, "

I don't understand why people keep saying this when every poll shows Cruz doing better against Sanders and Clinton than does Trump....by quite a bit.

I don't think the Cruz family's version of "Christianity" has much to do with Jesus.

And yet we still wait to hear from the 4000 people who switched their votes from Carson to Cruz because of this non-story.

Hell, forget 4000...I’ll settle for 4.

Man the Trump people are dishonest.

I never made a blanket statement that “Iowa will do such-and-such” did I?

....Rubio might be able to bring some credibility to to Cruz's campaign."

THAT's sure an interesting way to look at it.

Let's see, in Iowa, Cruz finished 1st and Rubio 3rd. In New Hampshire, Cruz finished 3rd and Rubio 5th. By that reasoning, maybe Cruz would be better off partnering with Mike Huckabee or Jim Gilmore.

He said he wanted IMMIGRATION REFORM to pass, not that bill.

These results were before Trump decided to go full-Democrat on the debate stage. Don't ever go full Democrat.

If you're right, in retrospect it was pretty damn stupid of Cruz to make such a shady campaign move, wasn't it?

I mean, if we accept your assertion as absolute truth, then he's got to be an absolute fool to open himself to this sharp and repeated rebuke from Carson, Rubio, and Trump. All for nothing. Assuming you're right that he garnered no support from the move.

Well, maybe I should say his campaign is run by fools rather than Cruz himself. Since he wasn't involved.

Right?

Not a chance in heck.
As I said to others...name ONE Blue State which Ted Cruz would flip to Red.
The GOP can’t win without flipping Blue States Red.

Even before he did his Preacher Thing, he wasn’t going to pickup a Blue State.
Now he would loose AZ, CO, MO, FL.

I think Yash was being sarcastic..

***

Sarcastic but accurate.

I’ve had more than one Cruz supporter tell me that I was going to Hell because I wasn’t voting Cruz, and then doubled down on that assertion when I challenged them.

Allow me to add to that - not to break Reagan’s 11th Commandment. He not only broke it - he jumped up and down on it and smashed it to he** and back.

I hate to inform you, but the amendment was to the Gang of Eight Bill.

SC use to be a pretty conservative state now the GOP is dominated by RINOs. One of the biggest mistakes they ever made was electing Nimrata Randhawa as governor. The child of Indian immigrants who has no roots whatsoever in the state. The first chance she got she threw the Confederate Flag under the bus and directly caused the hatred of all things to do with Confederate heritage all over the South. She’s a disgrace. A real native of the state would have never done that. From the minute she became governor she’s taken more vacations than Barack Obama and has been trying to find a job in Washington DC. That’s why she endorsed liberal Mitt Romney in 2012 and the reason she’ll endorse liberal GW Bush or Rubio before the week is out. She’s completely worthless. Needs to go back to India.

Look when you can’t get above 15-19% in the polls of your own party how are are you going to win a general election? Not gonna happen.
