You’re right. I expect Trump’s numbers to go up post-debate.

I agree that until we get good post debate polls no one can read where the election may be headed. It is clear there is some reason the polls are not being released. Could be Trump is tanking but if that we true they would have released them to build a narrative going into Saturday. The same would be true if Rubio were rising sharply. They would sit on polls showing Cruz rising or Trump rising.

I did look at it. People is SC are very angry at GOP, Lindsey Graham, Nikki Haley, and everyone else in the GOPe. People here are looking for Resolutions to problems, not who can play the smartest games, or dirtiest tricks. People in SC want ObamaCare replaced, Obamatrade defeated, an economy that benefits everyone (including SC), and we want someone who we feel will keep their word once they get into office, unlike 2010/2014 promises.

There was 1.1% difference between 3rd and 5th, and 3-5 got the same number of delegates.

Yes SC is a Christian state and I’m willing to bet they don’t like lying and voter fraud.

“Defiant Jeff Sessions on ‘Gang of Eight’: “Every step of the way, Ted Cruz was on my side and fought this legislation all the way through.””

I don’t see Sessions endorsing Cruz, although Cruz name-drops every chance he gets.

It’s an open primary - the debate won’t matter enough to pull down Trump’s numbers. He picked up a large swath of independents.

The polls show that Cruz can and is beating Hillary head to head though.

Re post #34.That was a classy reply to a snarky remark. It seems that the many Christians in SC are well aware of the voter fraud that took place in Iowa. God Bless.

“You’ve talked to over four million people? How’d you do it?”

You can trust someone who has lived in a state (SC) as much as someone who has lived half a life in another state (IA).

To run a clean campaign.

South Carolina is a whole different kettle of fish

Cruz lost the very conservative, conservative and slightly conservative vote, along with Evangelicals, by a wide margin to Trump. Cruz only beat out Jeb by less than a percentage point.
