Pyror Moore II-compressedCHARLESTON, S.C. — During Saturday night’s Republican presidential debate in South Carolina, Donald Trump said that if he were to nominate a judge to replace Justice Antonin Scalia, he would consider Diane Sykes or Bill Pryor, the latter of which prosecuted “Ten Commandments Judge” Roy Moore.

Come election day, this freeper will vote for a moldy dog turd if it has a R next to its name. Scalia’s death changed the game instantly. Staying home or writing in a non-candidate’s name in protest just isn’t an option. I like Trump. I prefer him. I’ll be happy to vote for Ted Cruz though if he gets the nomination. That doesn’t mean I’ll sit back and let him win without a fight though though I will carefully consider the manner in which I oppose him.

Roberts was apparently quite a good trial attorney. Cruz was wise to recommend him for the legal team in Bush v. Gore. And apparently, Roberts worked hard and effectively on the case.

He did not recommend Roberts when the Supreme Court vacancy came up, but instead recommended Michael Luttig, his old boss. Roberts was chosen instead, and Cruz supported the nomination (as did most people) based on his experience of him on Bush v. Gore.

Who knew he would betray us so massively?

On page 15, Roberts explicitly says the mandate is not a tax, then he rules it legal about 20 pages later, based on the taxing power.

If oyu voted for Reagan, you gave us Anthony Kennedy.

If you voted for Bush Sr., you gave us Souter.

If you voted for Bush 43, you gave us Roberts — and BTW, Alito.

For Trump to say that Cruz gave us 0bamacare is ludicrous...

Yes but it is killing Cruz which is most important. I don’t care how Cruz goes down as long as he goes down. If we have to play dirty like Cruz, so be it. This is a great day to be an American. Go Trump..........dump Cruz.

Yes, Alito was a good pick. But the logic is the same as The Don is using against Cruz.

He lost my vote last night on that and other issues. I was undecided between him and Cruz and now am solid for Cruz.

“He will tank in the general. I will not vote for him.”

You really think he’s going to tank because you are not voting for him? That’s a bit narcissistic don’t you think?

Uh oh, looks like we have BS Cruz talking point lie #47464 that will be posted ad nauseum from here until forever. Trump was the only guy at the debate who had some names at the ready that he would CONSIDER, that means he hates Jesus and wants Satan on the Supreme Court.

You guys talk about Trump going off the rails... all I see is a permanent state of apoplexy from Cruznadians.

“We’re one vote away from losing our religious liberties, the second Amendment among other thing”

We’re a hair’s breadth away from losing our country, and for many of us that will entail losing our lives.

“...and yet people want to play around by voting for Trump just to send a messag to the establishment”

No, to blow up the establishment, permanently and irrevocably. To put them out of business, and never allow them a voice again.

“THE STAKES ARE WAY TOO HIGH, people..!”

The stakes are too high to vote for anyone but Trump.

The odds that the Two Cubans or anyone else will do anything adequate are zero. They would be less than zero if that were mathematically possible.

The odds that Trump will save the country are unknown, but they might be better than zero.

Trump is not just our best bet, he is our only bet.

Far from it. He was returned to the bench as Chief Justice by the wise citizenry of Alabama.

“Cruz had an epic fail with Roberts..epic fail so Cruz is no better than anyone else.Fact!!!!”

The fact is Cruz was nowhere near the White House or Senate when the Roberts nomination was made. Like every other conservative at the time, including nearly everyone here on FR, he supported his confirmation once he was nominated.

So using this logic, Trump donated to the campaigns of Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, and Chuck Schumer, three of the driving forces in writing the Obamacare legislation and passing it through the Congress, therefore, Trump “gave” us Obamacare.

Bill Pryor was a good AG here in Alabama.

Please post a link or explain precisely why Roy Moore is a “nut” and precisely why Alabama removed him from the bench.

“”But that Bilble is really, really important to Trump””

Did you notice he was the only one on the stage last night who didn’t bow his head for a moment of silent prayer for Antonin Scalia? It was as if he didn’t know how to do it...don’t think it would be second nature to him from the way he acted.

Never mind that Pryor called Roe vs. Wade " “the worst abomination of constitutional law in our history”

That is kind of judge I want on the bench.
