Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) challenged Donald Trump on his view of Planned Parenthood during the GOP debate in South Carolina.
Cruz charged that Trump supports taxpayer funding for Planned Parenthood.
"Where did I support it?" Trump asked repeatedly.
"You supported it when we were battling over defunding Planned Parenthood," Cruz said in return.
Trump said Cruz's statements were "a lot of lies."
"You said, 'Planned Parenthood does wonderful things and we should not defund it,'" Cruz pointed out.
"It does do wonderful things but not as it relates to abortion," Trump asserted. "Excuse me. Excuse me, there are wonderful things having to do with women's health ... But not when it comes to abortion."

Ok back to the “planned Parenthood does good things.....”
Why not? Every democrat Trumpeteer posts go trump. Some of us weigh candidates based on the constitution.. Others on liberal rhetoric. The constitution does not support trumpcare or pp.. Trump doesn’t even understand the word sovereign. That is a minimal requirement for people who support the constitution.
We could have a so called die hard conservative as president like Cruz, a majority republican house, a majority republican senate and you will NEVER see a bill that defunds PP on his desk. They ALL know defunding PP would result in an EXPLOSION of more welfare recipients. They don’t want that plus it would add to the dimocrat voter base. These ‘conservative’ candidates will bluster around keeping evangelicals stinging along but they will never defund it.
If any of them were serious about saving babies they would break bad on the welfare system. They would make laws funding ONE child but a second will ONLY be paid for AFTER a voluntary tubal ligation, period, end of story. Then instead of abortions, PP could do tubal ligations and vasectomies.
It’s a known fact that these PP clinics are in minority neighborhoods targeting minorities and carrying on Margaret Sanger’s original eugenics project. When have you heard any republican pointing THAT little fact out? Why do you think they don’t? Wouldn’t it be a feather in their cap and garner minority voters to say ‘hey, dimocrats aren’t helping you, they are trying to exterminate you’. It’s the dirty little secret BOTH parties are guilty of.
So any attack on Trump for the comment he made just shows the stupidity of the anti Trump people.
