Good analysis. Trump was looking ahead of Saturday night. Bush can restate that he's sick and tire of Trump going after his family, but Trump only spoke the truth, even if it was unfortunate for GWB. It's hard to pin that on Bill Clinton when it happened 10 months after Bush was elected.
Jeb and Kasich talking about how great they did as governors goes against the grain of the anger people feel about the country's economic demise. It's hard to rally behind someone who says he was in charge during the last 8 years.
When they are gone, Trump will split and divide the two Cubans, both with checkered histories on immigration and now trying to give it the "more like Trump soft sell."
Sorry Cubans, this election is about "illegal immigrants" and Trump saying the wall first has resonance. For Cruz and Rubio, we would wait another 8 years for the flow of illegals to stop while they construct their plans for keeping ALL illegals in this country.
I know it is election season, and being a foreigner I try to stay out of it although the election of the US President means a lot to the part of the world we still call the Free World.
However, let us not rewrite history completely. Remember Clinton did not take out Osama when he could have done so? Remember Gorelick and the stove-piping of intelligence? Remember the Florida fiasco (more Gore than Clinton, but definitely the Dem party), which caused all Bush's nominations tot be delayed?

9/11 is 100% at bj’s doorstep. his non-response to the 1st WTC bombing and general non-response to terrorism sent a message loud and clear to islam: The USA has no stomach for a fight. The change of POTUS meant nothing to them, since W was unknown to them and thus perceived as weak as his predecessor.
The attacks on Iraq and Afghanistan sent a completely different message: Kick the USA and we will kick you harder.
Then osama obozo took over and sent a clear message: the USA will do your bidding, just let us look like we are actually doing something.
9/11 is NOT W’s fault by any stretch of the imagination, except for people who make videos of chickenwire and bricks in a BBQ.
