Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush gave his fellow Republican presidential candidates an elementary lesson on immigration at the last debate before the South Carolina primary.
After a moderator asked whether the immigration debate was insufficiently compassionate, Bush responded with a nuanced understanding of why immigrants enter the U.S. without proper authorization.
"The great majority of people that come to this country come because they have no other choice," Bush answered at the debate, hosted by CBS News in Greenville, South Carolina. "These are people coming to provide for their families, and we should show a little more respect for the fact that they're struggling."

Not in a million years.
That’s why Jeb speaks Spanish and is running for President Of Mexico.
Whenever someone talks about, “nuanced”, I get an image of them drinking Earl Grey Tea from a china cup with a pinky finger extended
Sounds like a Democrat.
Things like breaking the law are “nuanced” for people like Jeb to explain.
Illegal aliens here are here illegally, stupid.
The great majority of people that come to this country come because they have no other choice
Makes no sense. Most of the world is struggling.
Is Jeb going to fly 3 billion people to the US and house them in his mansion?
Yeb! should volunteer to help Mexicans make Mexico great again.
The great majority of people who commit crimes commit crimes because they have no other choice.
Jeb, there is always a choice: to obey the law or go to prison.
I hope I’ve cleared things up for you today.
For my part, if we were going to open the borders to every unhappy resident of another country, I would limit it to Viet Nam and Cambodia. Millions died by our neglect and political cowardice. First, we owe them for abandoning them in the VN Era. Second, they are actually hard working and intelligent people. third, they want to integrate. Mexicans and Muslims, not so much.
Jeb is a fairy and a moron.
So the Uniparty government extorts money from citizens who work for it and hands it over to illegals.
Now the people who actually earned the money are left struggling.
But that is okay because most are white people who are just Bitter Clingers, standing in the way of good hearted progressives like Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton and Jeb Bush.
Undocumented Illegals Providing Food For Their Families Show Their Gratitude To Americans
Jeb: “The great majority of people that come to this country come because they have no other choice”
Moving to the US cannot be the only solution for every person living in bad situation. Insanity.
I think we may already past the tipping point where illegal immigration has caused us harm.
I will not vote for anybody who would expedite our demise.
Jeb Merkel:
You gotta understand - they’re desperate and we need to show them our love.
That’s what makes America great.
Foolish Guac Merchant!
Cruz and Trump "get it".....
Jorge? No agenda there. Let’s see... Enforce E-verify and millions head home, Americans line up for jobs, Mexico gets its people back, the world keeps spinning.
Hey Jeb, there are several BILLION people around the world who fit into that category. How many of them do you want in the USA. All of them? All that can get one foot in our country illegally and say: "I want a better life?".
Your words on this subject are the babblings of a fool, a dangerous fool for the future of this nation.
Makes no sense. Most of the world is struggling.
Is Jeb going to fly 3 billion people to the US and house them in his mansion?
He is going to house them in our “mansion”, not his.
Too many of our leaders have no concept of “America First” so they happily toss more people onto the sinking lifeboat that holds our children.
The answer to the real problems of poverty in other nations is to lift those nations up - not to absorb the poor into our own society with the best entitlements one can find. We can’t afford the entitlements now and it only gets worse in the future so let’s take in more people. It really is insane.
