Donald Trump: Bush Admin: "Everything is A Lie" (From 2007)
Trump CNN Interview 2007 ^ | March 2007 | Donald Trump

You Tube. Trump explained in 2007 that the Iraq War turned into a civil war; someday the US will have to leave and "it will be a disaster." Trump reached out to returning maimed Iraqi vets. Worth a watch.

Bush was a first class dunce, and he never once defended himself or his base. GWB did great destruction to the Republican Party despite what good old El Rushbo says about him.

May the bush dynasty end!

Fact: The World Trade Center/Pentagon was attacked on Bush’s watch. The meme that “he protected us” is a blatant lie on its face. Osama kicked our ass and continues to do so from the grave as we spend billions of dollars hardening our transportation, infrastructure, and sports venues. Yes, we must defend overseas now, yet another Bush legacy.

Bush gave us the TSA strip searching and molesting our women and children, and DHS that gobbled up ALL intelligence and domestic agencies and empowered that agency with the PATRIOT ACT, then he gave tens of billions to the NSA/NRO/CIA to spy on us and create massive data centers to record our every digital transmission.

Bush sucked!

Good interview from 2007, Trump has remained consistent on his view about Iraq and forboded the disaster it is today.

I do recall Colin Powell in from the U.N. making the case we knew exactly where the WMDs were located.

Then years later W. said there were no WMDs.

I admire George W. Bush in many ways, but you’re right- the biggest failure didn’t start on his watch but it sure manifested itself on 9/11, when the failure to prepare our nation against terrorism became obvious. The intelligence was there, but it was ignored. That is on Clinton, Bush, and all their advisors, Congress, and more. It’s easy to look back in history and see how badly the US de-armed itself afte WWI that made us vulnerable 20 years later, and history will rmember that 9/11 was the result of the US inability or unwilingness to name and understand the enemy.

Trump will find out who, what, and “how hard do we hit them” on Day One.

Yep!

Being personal friends with the Bush’s and Rubio has clouded his judgment. He goes after Trump with a vengeance, but doesn’t appear all that concerned that Rubio joined Schumer and Durbin in the Gang of Eight, which would’ve brought our nation amnesty and a forever Democrat voter block!

I worked on W’s campaign and was on call to help with the recount before the Supreme’s called the count off.

By 2004, I felt duped by W. By the end of the W presidency, Bush had approved budgets which added an additional 5 trillion to the national debt. Then I became a Bush hater.

I for one supported Bush and the war in Iraq.

The problem was it was poorly planned and an overall disaster.

And now its constantly putting brush fires out one after another.

Like a drunk the first thing you got to to do is admit you have a problem.
Not make stupid excuses and defend why you got drunk.

The Bush’s simply are not, and never have been, Reagan conservatives.

Bush did some good things, no doubt, but by 2004, as you aptly point out, he was more interested in making nice with the Dems, than defending his (OUR) conservative positions.

Every time GWB said “Compassionate Conservatism”, I wanted to slap the crap out of him!

I walk in and out of the military “orbit.” After 9/11 I was in and was privy in a general sense to what our course of action would be. “This is what will happen, but this is what SHOULD happen was a constantly heard refrain. Saudi Arabia attacked us on 9/11, yet we attacked Afghanistan. Need I say more?

I don’t know why Donald Trump hates Rosie O’Donnell. He sounded just like her in last night’s debate. He used her uber-left talking points and was insulting. If Rosie had a model’s body, Donald would have married her.

No Child Left Behind has fueled the great “dumbing down” of the US public school system.

Kids perform bad, throw out the teachers and administrators.

The kids and their parents? Bear no responsibility.

And the Bushes want to keep importing 3rd world kids...they come in and they are illiterate in all languages!

Which day will Trump find out about the nuclear triad?

“I'm with you.”

My “metamorphosis” is almost a carbon copy of yours. I lost a lot of sleep waiting with baited breath in both of W's elections that he would prevail (actually it was pretty much of a no-brainier when you looked at the RAT opponents both times). But as time wore on, and we ground on in Iraq and Afghanistan with ROE’s that kept us from winning and resulted in needless deaths of our young people coupled with the huge costs, I came to the conclusion that W was either really as stupid as the RATs portrayed him to be or that he was in the pockets of the Saudis. In the end I hate him too. He was a $hit president, and on inspection of his record, so was his father. And if it's possible, Yebbie is the dumbest of the lot. The Booshes need to be relegated to the ash heap of history.
