What is off the mark is her comparing Anita Hill and Clarence Thomas with Bill Clinton raping, assaulting, and power-predating less powerful women.
IIRC, Anita Hill never claimed to being raped or even touched. Hers was a story of ‘verbal inappropriateness’.
I didn’t believe her, but if Monica’s claim had been: “Bill talked dirty to me.”, then we would never have had any of the Clinton Sexcapades make the news.

It wasn't a rape charge, but it was certainly an attempt to utterly destroy Clarence Thomas's reputation. This is the Joe Biden I remember, the destroyer of a black man of intelligence and character at the hearings. Biden is one of the most despicable human beings -- which is exactly why Obama chose him to VP. |
