"For all we know"...he didn't.
Sadly, I echo your concern Kahuna and I pray each and everyday for the the Good Lord to once again bless this country.
Evil is running rampant and we have to turn to God in order to stop it.
“Politics is just another way to have a war. Without the dead bodies.
Tell that to Finicum.”
a vote for anyone other than Senator Cruz is a vote for an ever increasing monster - The FEDERAL G’ment.
The stakes are clear - Mr. Trump as described by Senator Ted Cruz earlier today says it all - Mr. Trump is very much for a larger Fed. g’ment, and the Supreme Court justices that Mr. Trump would appoint would indeed eviscerate the Second Amendment and Mr. Trump as he himself has stated would fully fund Planed Parenthood

So if Cruz says it, it must be true?
Trump would take on the world before he’d give up his guns. He’s been 100% more vocal about that than any other candidate include Cruz.
Ted Cruz is just another lying politician who will do anything, including selling out to Goldman Sachs to get elected.
Okay appreciate the correction and maybe a little relieved. Glad he wants payback.. I was in the car when I heard this and apparently heard the part about him supporting a nominee AFTER the election, but interpreted it as now. He did say he believed a President has the right to select his own people and voted for Kagan, thus the incorrect leap.
Thank you so much, dearest AuntB!
Anytime!
That’s where opinions differ.
I thought he was simply playing to the moment. Like it or not, Trump is a very reactive and spontaneous guy. Many deride, many find it likable.
The idea that he planted her in the audience is very unlikely to me. He does a lot of banter back and forth with people at his rallies.
Many times in the past I cringed at the things Trump would say, as after years of political correctness being drilled into me, I figured he’d get in trouble. But no, he actually grew in popularity because—or in spite—of the things he said. It’s refreshing, actually. You may still be at full cringe. I’m not.
I just don’t see Trump as a planner to that detail that he’d plant anyone. He’ll bellow and rage, and sometimes fly off the handle, and, like that time, say something naughty—not sure if obscene, like “schlonged” or “pussy”.
Some people are outraged by all that, and some people want to hear more of it.
To me, both words, while originally having sexual meanings, have moved into other meanings, like schlonged meaning walloped, and pussy meaning coward or unmanly.
We’ve been over this again and again on this thread. Ted Cruz does not want to be on the Sunday shows.
Personally, I think he should—any publicity is good publicity.
But he chooses to not appear.
The question has ebbed, natural for that to happen. Plus, the lower a candidate's position in the polls, the less important, even from a ballot integrity point of view. Not as many waste votes.
I would not count the question "out" just yet. It's between rounds, and the question is in the corner, resting and getting a massage.
The only evidence that Cruz chooses to not go on the shows, is passing remarks by the talking heads tha tthjey have inviting him on, nad he or his people either decline or don’t call back. I don’t know if that is sufficient “proof” for you, but if Cruz had a problem with not getting enough press, or if he took the reports of “invited and declined” as lies, he could raise the issue on his own, during his rallies, at the debates, or any time a reporter manages to corner him with a question.
Hey, now you’ve got me feeling all guillty about St. Valentine.
Still ... chocolates are good.
Wish I still had someone who got me some every February 14th.
I hope people care A LOT. And I hope they show the Senators that they care. We should never forgive any Senator who votes to confirm a liberal judge.
Well then, my take still stands.
There is nothing Constitutional that says a Senator HAS to vote FOR a president's nominee. Else Consent does not mean what Linda thinks it means.
Define consent: "to agree to do or allow something : to give permission for something to happen or be done"
And, little known fact, Canada had a right to join the US Confederacy (before the Constitution) without any vote of approval by the other states, but any other colony had to petition for approval.
Me too.
I thought Donald made a huge mistake last night in his attack against Jeb Bush by attacking his family and brother.
Donald took exactly the tack that the democrats take.
They can use this.
Whatever people think about that war in retrospect, most of us were for it at the time. I have a lot of respect for George W. Bush and what a poor idea to attack him to try to get at Jeb.
Why did Trump bother to attack Jeb? He’s leading, Jeb doesn’t really have a chance.
Trump just has to get back at people no matter what he has to do.
He may not have hurt himself last night but he gave it the old college try. What a disaster.
I cannot imagine and do not believe that Ted Cruz refuses to appear.
He did extremely well on Fox News Sunday. In fact, Chris Wallace was still reeling at the debate and I thought Chris was particularly snotty to Ted to try to get back because Ted kinda made him look foolish.
I always liked Cruz also and would support him if he won the nomination, but he’s beginning to come across as slimey.
