Why are the US Marshalls investigating?? Is that normal when a SCOTUS dies?

I am just beside myself right now. I will miss seeing his hat bobbing up and down at the State of the Union.

Why are the US Marshalls investigating?? Is that normal when a SCOTUS dies? I am just beside myself right now. I will miss seeing his hat bobbing up and down at the State of the Union.

Yes, we'll certainly miss him. He had a sense of humor too along with being our bastion of conservatism at SCOTUS. Condolences to his family and prayers up!

Let's hope they can delay appointing a new SCOTUS justice until next January. .
