By all accounts I have read, Melania is a devoted wife,

Yes, the best money can buy. The Donald does not get the regular cheap stuff.

“Yes, the best money can buy.”

Aren’t they all?

‘And, with the woman at the well, Jesus refused to condemn her as the pharisees wanted, but simply told her “neither do I condemn you”, and “go and sin no more”’

That’s a pretty good mash-up between the Woman at the Well and the Woman Caught in the Act of Adultery.

If the Cruz campaign hadn’t pulled the ad, I predict Trump and/or others would have been all over him saying he’s a religious hypocrite and saying that he supports porn. Unfortunately, the production company who made the video failed the Cruz campaign by not vetting her properly and putting the campaign into a “no-win” situation. If they were not making a swing through the evangelical bible belt, I think they could have left the ad up and said that they support a person changing their ways.

Right up until he cheats on her just like he did the first two.

This will probably jump start her career.

I hope it does. Dunno about her acting chops, but I really liked her in this interview.

" It was a casting call for a commercial for an unknown candidate."

Nonsense. It was specifically aimed at Rubio. There's even a late arriving attendees wearing a Rubio shirt.

Her resume is easily vetted whether her R rated work is listed or not.

Trump and his supporters had nothing to do with it.

Who is making hay of it here if not Trump supporters?

I agree with you. She had a past.

We all have a past.

Stopping the ad was/is a mistake.

I clearly stated "Why did he (ie: Cruz) yank the ad?"

I don't get the point of that. It's already known that (1)Cruz hires paid actors and (2) he said they weren't properly vetted. Wouldn't it have been smarter to cut his losses, and especially since what he's espousing is Christian values, say that he applauds the woman for moving beyond her past indiscretions?

Now Cruz looks indecisive and not in control of a small situation. Makes one wonder how he'd handle a real crisis.

Trump mentions the Bible on a regular basis while on the stump.

(Yeah, waiting for him to read from "Two Thessalonians" next...)

Correction...Donald Trump never operated a strip club.[No, Trump was only a porn-mongerer, doing what the old porn theater business did -- rake in cash from pay-per-movie porn in his hotels]
