I am talking about issues and outcomes. So far, Trump has been words. Lots and lots of words. He says “trust me.” I’m not sure I do. Conservatism used to define a set of beliefs, but you are right. It has lost its meaning.
Will Trump cause government to stop intruding into my life?
Will Trump roll back the size of government?
Will Trump promote freedom for all?
We simply don’t know at this point and have to place our faith in him being a man of his word. I just can’t trust him that intimately.
