Trump Has Huge Lead Over Cruz in Two SC Polls
by Cathy Burke Donald Trump has a commanding lead in the GOP presidential primary field in South Carolina in two new polls – including one in which the real estate billionaire has more than double the support of his nearest rival, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz.
The surveys,
the South Carolina House Republican Caucus, and the
Opinion Savvy Poll, come just eight days ahead of the Palmetto State's Feb. 20 primary.
Here's the breakdown in the South Carolina House Republican Caucus survey:
- Trump: 34.5 percent
- Cruz: 15.5 percent
- Florida Gov. Jeb Bush: 13 percent
- Florida Sen. Marco Rubio: 12.5 percent
- Ohio Gov. John Kasich: 8.5 percent
- Retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson: 5 percent
- Undecided: 11 percent
Trump beats the competition among conservatives, moderates, libertarians, independent and across age groups – and even edges out Cruz with tea party Republicans, 37 percent to 36 percent.
The results were posted
by The Hill.
In the Opinion Savvy survey, the results show:

Yes, repeating that term when asked what a lady said is an unforgivable sin....blaspheming the PC. PC itself can say. “Vagina Monologue” but saying ‘wimp’ will not be forgiven in this life or the next.

“But this canât be. I thought Trump was finished after his profane term for a vagina comment about Cruz?”
There are multiple definitions for pussy.
One of them is a vulgar reference to female genitalia.
The other means “a cowardly person.”
Trump repeated the word after someone in the audience called it out. Since he was talking about Cruz’s hesitation about using waterboarding, this was obviously meant to indicate Cruz was a coward - and thus neither Trump nor the woman in the audience said anything out of place.

“No. He was finished long ago. When he insulted the war hero.”
Try a little truth. Obviously, being a POW isn’t Trump’s definition of “war hero.” When he said that, and it was pointed out to him that prisoners are war heroes as well, he corrected his statement and affirmed that McCain WAS a war hero... FIVE TIMES.
So stop the lies.
As for the “finished long ago” BS... maybe you should tell that to the 10,000 people who have been showing up each of the past several nights to hear him speak. Yep! He’s just about toast! /s

This election âwas overâ the night of the Iowa Caucus. Ok. Then NH happened. Hmmm, guess this race WASNâT over. And SC is looking like an even YUGER blowout win than NH. Hmmm...

I think they have the makings of a two man ticket if they’d just stop the bickering.
Trump as President of the United States and Cruz as Vice President and President of the Senate.

That means polls under estimated his strength due to the Bradley Effect.

I remember watching that TV series about the Mafia and every episode they talked about the character Big Pussy.
It was on TV so Pussy is no big deal
Of course Cruz is the Cowardly Pussy, won’t endorse waterboarding

I have a feeling that SC will be a totally lopsided trouncing that NH was. Then, itâs on to NV, where he will trounce them all over again.

There’s something going on. Those crowds are not a mirage. Did you see the rip roaring crowds in Baton Rouge and Tampa the last couple of nights. Incidentally, Trump is past S.C. on to upcoming states, while the rest of the pack is mucking around in S.C. trying to stay relevant.

Early voting I’m Texas begins 02/16.
With Glen Becks endorsement and help, who knows what will happen. At least nutty Beck didn’t swear Ted in as President of Texas.

No to Cruz as VP. Trump already said even if there is only a 2 percent chance that Cruz is not elligible to run for potus, that is too much of a chance to take with something this mportant. I see Cruz as damaged goods, and Trump can’t win with those goods!
To: iontheball
Cruz supporters are being reduced to saying that 14,000 who turned out for a Christian Rock concert in Greenville SC was a Ted Cruz rally. That’s pretty pathetic. All Cruz did was say a few words then a prayer.
When people are reduced to making such wild and dishonest claims, you know that they are getting desperate.

so far this is shaping up like Reagan in 1980.. it started in NH after a squeaker loss in Iowa (where he skipped the last debate) and it was off to the races as Reagan blew all the rest out of the water in SC and rolled after that,, people like to vote for winners.. plus SC likes to vote for manly men,, Cruz doesn’t fit that bill, neither does Bush or Rubio.. just sayin
