Good on the armed citizen, but did the officer not have a gun?
To: ChildOfThe60s
They don’t need to say it anymore. It is understood.

If the officer used his own gun, the families of the forty
teens would use and the gubmint would put the cop in jail.

This story is out of Pennsylvania, so my inclination is to believe Amish youths were likely involved.
That said, how long before the Good Samaritan is charged with a crime by police and prosecutors, sued by the youths, loses his job, left penniless, and/or is otherwise negatively impacted over this episode?
I hope he comes out of this whole episode intact.

It has been that way for decades. We know what they mean when they dont say what it is.

Even if they weren’t black, the mollifying term “young people”, as if they were just hanging out at the malt shop, totally pisses me off.

Whereas if he was NOT in possession of one, he would have been immediately arrested and incarcerated for illegally possessing a Threatening Weapon Capable of Great Harm (and uncaringly endangering minors!).
Remember, if you don’t have the government’s permission, whatever you do is illegal.

Remember when a reference to a mob meant THE MOB?
Now it is usually a bunch of brain dead GibsMeDats.
