Ted Cruz's campaign pulled a recent ad after it was discovered that one of the actresses featured in it has also appeared in softcore porn films.
The 30-second ad, titled "Conservatives Anonymous," which launched Thursday, is set during a group therapy session in which conservative voters talk about being double-crossed by Marco Rubio. The video was pulled from YouTube on Thursday evening.
"Maybe you should vote for more than just a pretty face next time," the woman played by Amy Lindsay tells another group member. Lindsay's filmography includes titles such as "Animal Lust," "Co-Ed Confidential" and "Carnal Wishes."

I’m amazed the lamestream media did not run with THAT headline.
Sounds like you’re an agitator. Haven’t we had enough from the Agitator-in-Chief?
Everybody is human. We could all be torn limb from limb for our faults and failures if somebody wanted to do that. And if we were, that would leave us all to believe in nobody. Period.
Is that what you’re after? Because what’s gotten us to give up the fight is cynicism - the belief that nothing we do matters anyway because everything is hopeless. We’re all impossibly rotten and there is thus no hope for us.
The point of Christianity is that we ARE impossibly rotten, but God did the impossible thing of redeeming us through the death of His Son for our sin (fallen human nature) and sins (actual thoughts, words, and deeds that are wrong). For Christians, a person’s faults are an opportunity for redemption. God used a donkey to speak when His “prophet” refused to say the unpopular thing, and Jesus said the very stones would cry out if the Jerusalem crowd didn’t. If He can use a donkey and stones to speak what He wants said, he can use a Trump or a Cruz.
But constant agitation - to cut down everybody equally - only leads to cynicism. Who does that help? Who is it who wants us to give up?
In related news, the Daily Caller reports: “In a statement to TheDC, Ron Jeremy “thinks it’s great†that an adult actress would be featured in a Cruz ad, noting that “porn stars are liberal in nature†and that it was “kind of exciting†for a porn star to be featured in the advertisement. Jeremy later said that “Cruz shouldn’t be embarrassed†by the ad.”

She looks like a drunken, sluttier version of Alison Sweeney.
Why can’t these candidates, their PACs, etc., produce ads with genuine people vs. actors? More of the same phony garbage!
Cruz is so awesome with pop-culture knowledge and references. One reason he’ll have very good appeal to younger voters compared to other Republicans. He’s not a stiff square who doesn’t know what’s going on in movies, music and TV.

UPDATE: In an interview with BuzzFeed, Lindsay said that she did not do hardcore porn and had appeared in other non-erotic films too. Lindsay said she is a Christian conservative who is deciding between Cruz and Donald Trump for president.

In Cruz’ defense, I don’t watch porn, so I had no idea who she was either.
I think though his staff needs to learn that IMDB IS YOUR FRIEND!!!
