Investigators with the State Department issued a subpoena to the Bill, Hillary and Chelsea Clinton Foundation last fall seeking documents about the charity’s projects that may have required approval from the federal government during Hillary Clinton’s term as secretary of state, according to people familiar with the subpoena and written correspondence about it.
The subpoena also asked for records related to Huma Abedin, a longtime Clinton aide who for six months in 2012 was employed simultaneously by the State Department, the foundation, Clinton’s personal office, and a private consulting firm with ties to the Clintons.
The full scope and status of the inquiry, conducted by the State Department’s inspector general, were not clear from the material correspondence reviewed by The Washington Post.

Will Huma be the fall guy for Hillary? Will Huma eventually testify that she herself tampered with emails, that she did so without Hilary’s knowledge or approval?? Then Huma could go to prison but Hillary comes out smelling like a rose????

Hillary may have been the Sec State but that is no excuse for the entire State Dept. to look the other way. In fact they had to actively assist her in many ways and through many people.

And when HitLIARy keeps repeating “I received permission from the State Department” to have her own server I want to know WHO?
I want a name. Who told her it would be OK- she was the head of The State Department- did she give herself permission?
I think I know how she tells herself she received permission. Anyone who dared approach her about the impropriety or the illegality of it was in some manner shown a Jim McDougal or a Vince Foster future for their lives and the subject was dropped. In fact that was probably understood before anyone there noticed her server.
Sadly for them that gives them little legal cover for espionage.
