Watergate reporter Carl Bernstein called out Hillary Clinton on Wednesday for continually blaming a "vast right-wing conspiracy" for her campaign woes.
"I think she has to acknowledge she's made some terrible misjudgments and errors, particularly on the server," Bernstein said during an interview on CNN.
"The vast right-wing conspiracy didn't put the server in her damn closet. She's going to have to get by this thing, and she's going to have to acknowledge a terrible misjudgment it seems to be here."

You listen to her explain it long enough and she’ll show you how it was a vast right-wing conspiracy. That’s what lawyers do..........suspend reality in a way people will believe it.
If he and Woodward had the same zeal they had with Nixon, Hilary and Bill would have been in prison stripes long ago.
Carl, Carl, Carl. You naïve man. You just don’t understand. If Hillary’s Rightwing enemies weren’t constantly trying to undermine her and weren’t out to get her with unfair and illegal tactics, she wouldn’t have to put her email server in a closet to protect her communication from their nefarious plans. She was actually protecting the country from its real enemies - the Republicans.
It goes way beyond having her own personal server. It’s the reason she had her own personal server. It clearly demonstrates beyond any reason of a donut intent to withhold and destroy government documents for one little thing. Any prosecutor could charge her for every single email. She should be looking at thousands of years in prison, and billions of dollars in fines.
If she stonewalls and does not release the speech transcripts....it enables Republicans to paint her into a corner. This is not just a vast right-wing conspiracy that is causing her problems. She has caused herself these problems. The server is not the vast right-wing conspiracy. It's Hillary Clinton deciding she could put a server in her closet. The same with the transcripts. The same with accepting b anking money in a presidential year when she knew that she was probably going to be running for President.....
The only reason he’s even mildly critical now is because there’s an even more radical left wing loon in the race with her.

Carl way understates her criminal activity. She has 1400 counts of removing government confidential documents from the State Department including 24 top secret and SAP documents . She has 36,000 counts of destroying government documents which was blatant tampering with evidence. She put lives at risk !! She should be indicted,tried ,convicted and imprisoned or we know that there are people ABOVE THE LAW!!! We know that from Carl!! we heard night after night during the nothing that Nixon did from Carl that “NO ONE IS ABOVE THE LAW!!” Why is he not saying that about Hillary?
And did you all know IMO that “Deep Throat” was an uncorroborated disgruntled rejected candidate for FBI director who hated Nixon for over looking him as Director ? His name was Mark Felt. That was Carl’s “deep Throat” and “irrefutable” source. This violated every tenant of journalistic ethics and training. Mark Felt was his name and I have never heard Carl apologize or acknowledge his shameful use of this uncorroborated source with an admitted ax to grind, So, I don’t care what he has to say about anything.
But nowhere in this very lengthy “explanation” is there any kind of real “mea culpa”.
Narcissism does not begin to cover this self-absorbed harpy. If ever Herself has consulted a competent psychotherapist, it would make a most interesting case study, but Herself would never bend to the point of sharing such an intimate side of her conscience (assuming Herself has one), as that would give another a most inordinate degree of power over Herself.
In some future civilization, a case study of the reign of the Power Couple, and the machinations they undertook, would surpass the chicanery of even the Medici family.
A good basis for this historical review would begin with a review of “Hell to Pay”, written by Barbara Olson, who perished in the events of September 11, 2001.
Olson shows a woman who, far from “standing by her man”, is a political Machiavellian. Herself’s own personal paranoia as first lady, led to the operating a virtual “secret police” unit to destroy presumed personal enemies, starting with Billy Dale of the White House Travel Office, and including such lowly staffers as cooks and valets. Secret Service members assigned to her detail probably suffered HUGE amounts of abuse, only sketchy details of this have ever leaked out. In scandal after scandal, all roads lead to Herself.
And this book was written LONG before Benghazi.
When you have to be identified by something you wrote almost forty years ago it was obviously a stroke of luck.
