Trump has declared his opposition to Common Core in virtually every speech.
The person who attempted to deceive is the person who watched the speech, picked up the few words when Trump misspoke and sent it out as a headline. I caught it and thought “Uh Oh, we will be hearing about this a lot.” It only took a few minutes before the YouTube was out there, intending to mislead. Whoever did it knew that Trump did not support Common Core.

He mispoke. He’s said a thousand times, he’s canning common core. : )

You find it odd that someone misspoke??? You don't know enough about Trump to know that he is adamantly against common core??? Are you one of the guys who says he will vote GOPe if Cruz gets knocked out of the race???

If you had watched the whole video, you would have seen that within the previous 7 minutes he tore Common Core to shreds.

That’s why Trump is a breath of fresh air to so many. As you said, he has a healthy self-esteem and refuses to downplay his success. He’s what America should strive to be like.
