Sen. John McCain Monday slammed Donald Trump's comments over the weekend praising the merits of waterboarding, saying that that anyone who claims the extreme interrogation technique is a way to get useful information is lying.
"This is a near-death experience," McCain said on Fox News' "Outnumbered" program, which his daughter, Meghan, co-hosts. "They will tell that person who is administering that anything they want to hear."
During Saturday night's GOP debate and on several Sunday morning shows, Trump commented that if he becomes president, he would "absolutely authorize" waterboarding or "a hell of a lot worse."
"They're chopping off heads of Christians and many other people in the Middle East," Trump told CNN's Jake Tapper on the "State of the Union" program. "They're chopping heads off, they laugh at us when they hear we're not going to approve waterboarding and then they'll have a James Foley and others where they cut off their heads." McCain, who himself was tortured as a prisoner of war in Vietnam, pointed out that the Geneva convention prohibits the technique, and there has been a 93-3 vote in the Senate to stop it.
Further, the Arizona Republican issued an official statement on Monday on the topic, quoting several experts who call the practice's outcome dangerous for American military personnel.

Juan McAmnesty...anyone who believes you is stupid.

Tickling them will work better? Americans need to keep their focus on Christian persecution, terrorism and the abundance of illegals in this country. Waterboarding IS tickling compared to what these animals do. Trump will be the wrecking ball we need to get back on track and keep America safe.
Well, except for in the case of finding OBL’s location. I mean other than that, it NEVER works!
McCain is a doddering old fool that can’t be gone soon enough!
Water boarding is not torture. The simplest proof is the number of lamestream media reporters who signed up to try it so they could report how terrible it was.
I don’t recall any lamestream media reporter ever signing up to try electroshock or the rack or having their fingernails pulled out.
Anyone who says “Anyone who says waterboarding Works is a liar” is a liar.
Did Cruz say he wouldn’t use the technique? I must have missed that.
“The Geneva convention applies in declared wars doesn’t it?”
The Geneva convention only applies to soldiers IN UNIFORM.
Ever watch ‘The Great Escape?’ Steve McQueen tears off the German uniform he was wearing (made him technical a spy). When he was caught the first thing he did was show his military insignia.
No uniform, no Geneva convention protection.
He actually dodged the question not once but two maybe 3 times. I don’t understand that because I thought Cruz for sure would be for that. I am not so sure he is really as strong as his words say.
What do ze papers say?
That or one of his other five homes. Or is it seven? Nine?
McCain distinctly said “waterboarding”. But he believes that “Budweiserboarding” works. Does anyone know where the CIA can get truckloads of Budweiser?
He (Cruz) actually stated what the definition of torture was, and that waterboarding didn't fit in the definition, also that he wouldn't rule out using it, despite the legal prohibition on its use.
Well, the guy at the CIA who supervised it has gven compelling testimony...and he indicates it gave us actionable intelligence that led to finding and killing Bin Laden.
I will take his word for it over McCain.
Here is his interview by Hannity (the actual interview starts at a little after 4 minutes):

Read his books: Hard Measures.
Anyone who votes to put McCain back in office AGAIN is an IDIOT!
He knows. The ChiComs didn’t waterboard him and they got all the Information they wanted plus propaganda radio broadcasts and the ratting out of his fellow inmates. And all it took was a few plates of extra food.
Then he got elected and attached a rider to a bill that sealed his POW records for 99 years.
“So do we ere on the side of McCain or Trump? “
McCain has two sides.
