Trump has stated that GOPe has disappointed him twice, first with McCain and then with Romney. Trump has now said in disgust (paraphrased) ”I am going to do it myself.”

See post 15.

I understand Trump supporters are loyal and indisposed to finding anything that doesn’t reflect favorably on him. But keep in mind, if you’re going to get your guy to the White House you’re going to be dealing with millions of unpersuaded voters. No one of these candidates is The Perfect One. Finding each one’s faults and looking at them squarely is necessary for us to be successful in winning this election.

Burying our head in the sand is dangerous. Someone along the way, at the store or the office will say “Did you know Trump, or Rubio or Cruz did this in 2006, 1994”???? Be prepared to say yep, and here’s why I don’t think it’s important.

Honestly, I don’t have a candidate. I don’t like any of them but will vote for the nominee.

And yes, I would do that because that’s what the opposition is doing, I want to be ready for em;)

Let’s look at something more contemporary and a lot more sinister: consider who is pulling Cruz’s strings and you will find Robert Mercer, hedge fund manager extraordinaire. Mercer is the main contributor to Cruz’s PAC. He also has weaselly worked his hedge fund to avoid 6 billion in taxes. That’s great company for Teddy.

Along with Cruz’s ties to Mercer, we will see the vid of Ted and Heidi saying, “Send 5 or 10... 50 or 100....”

I’m a Cruz supporter, but if there was a there there, the Dems might sit on it, but the John Elllis Bush operatives would have trotted it out by now.

Thanks for those well thought out analytical, significant, factual answers and not reverting to accusation, innuendo, non productive personal attacks!!

Caused me to stop and re-evaluate, reconsider reexamine my thinking and evaluate the candidate I was thinking of support.

Thanks again!

There’s a lot of stuff there which I have no way to vet. One general observation: There is no one good or bad that Trump has not called his “good friend.” If everyone is a good friend then actually no one is a good friend. It is a term of manipulation.

Too bad real investigative reporting is dead. All we have is a media full of gossips and fabricators. They are so untrustworthy that no one believes them. In this case you have a two-fer. Trump supporters see no evil or if they do, they twist and deny it; and anyway, the media is rotten to the core so who can trust them.

Actually, we don’t have to take it, tough guy.

NEW HAMPSHIRE
GOP primary:
Trump 31%
Rubio 17
Cruz 14
Kasich 10
Bush 7
Fiorina 5
Christie 4
Carson 3 ...
(CNN/WMUR/UNH tracking poll, 2/4-8)

Bite me...

Actually yes, but it was the cheating that screwed things up. But it doesn’t really matter, not in the long run.

I’ll be here tomorrow handing out crying towels for you and yours.

I'm not a Trump supporter, yet. I never liked the man's deal making book and not sure I like or trust him. I know I don't like Cruz who I think is a weasel, and I certainly don't want Bush as president. That said, I see no benefit in reading an article that exaggerates so much at the outset.

Cause incumbent Obama was a harder win.

A shame, lousy candidates 4 years ago, I maybe could’ve gotten on the Trump train then.

But no of course he’s gotta run this time when we have a great conservative running.

Fair enough response. I feel about the same if Cruz were to win. For about 7 months I was a Cruz supporter, that changed a few weeks ago.

Bottom line: If Trump wins the nomination, he is going to need the Cruz folks to take out the dems and the same is true if Cruz were to prevail. In either case this country will be better off and quite frankly, we may find that we have averted a bloody civil war.

Regardless, I have a strong belief that Trump is going to win.
