Agree. Cruz will win in NH by doing better than expected. But I expect more than that from the south.

Glad to have the Rand Paul gun votes. He had as flawless a record on the subject as Cruz did.

Not in New Hampshire. Not only is Rand Paul’s departure from the race good for Ted Cruz, but being officially endorsed by Paul’s New Hampshire campaign chair is even better!
Ted Cruz 2016!
To: mkjessup
Big fricking deal - and who cares if Rand Paul’s chair person endorses Cruz. Shows a total lack of judgment. Let’s not forget that both Paul and Cruz are under McConnell’s thumb.

Been saying for a week that a 3rd place finish by Cruz will be a victory in RINO-CENTRIC New Hampshire.

This endorsement should put Cruz over the top in the NH primary.
Cruz should run away with it tomorrow night in NH.

I’m for Cruz, too, but let’s not be stupid about this. I’m hoping that this endorsement will solidify Cruz with a second place finish in New Hampshire, but there is practically no chance whatsoever that Trump will not win the primary.
I would personally be overjoyed if Cruz broke the 20% mark, but a 17 to 18% second place finish would be more than enough to give him a boost heading into South Carolina.
This is good news. But Paul was running about 3% in New Hampshire before he dropped out. This gives Cruz a bump of maybe 1%.

Prediction :
Trump 26%
Cruz 20%
Kasich 17%
Rubio and Bush 14%
Christie 8%
To: Third Person
For another percentage point. That leaves Cruz just above Kasich in NH and still 16 points down in South Carolina....because NH doesn't count don't ya know....all dem liberal northeastern peoples....

This should help organize people to vote for Cruz. I still think Trump will win NH. They prefer milquetoast moderates up there and there are plenty of candidates for them to choose from, Trump has the LIV Republicans locked up, and the people who want to take back their liberty seem too few to win. However, second in NH would be nice and this holds substantive bearing on that. I still have hope the people in NH will reject the reality TV star and vote with their heads. We’ll see.
