He’s young, only 26. His handlers will get him to apologize and he will have a great career. He’s a good ball player.
Heâs young, only 26
Good point.
A dejected Cam Newton grew tired of answering questions about what went wrong in the Carolina Panthers’ 24-10 loss to the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl 50.
Newton was sacked six times by the Broncos, whose defense led them to their win at Levi’s Stadium.
When he was asked why he struggled to complete passes, Newton simply got up and walked off the podium after about three minutes.
Before he prematurely ended his post-game news conference, Newton said the Panthers were outplayed by the Broncos, but the NFL MVP vowed to be back.
“We had our opportunities,” said Newton, who was 18 of 41 for 245 yards with an interception and two lost fumbles that led to the only Broncos touchdowns.
“It wasn’t nothing special they did. We dropped balls, turned the ball over, gave up sacks, threw errant passes. They scored more points than we did.”

Right now he is just a cut above John Football. He needs to come out and eat humble pie.
He was a jerk at Florida.
He was a jerk at Auburn.
He is a jerk at Carolina.
I hope Doug Williams is laughing his ass off.
Lol! Boy, did you hit the nail on the head.
When I think of SOME men, those who defend our country, some of THEM aren't yet twenty.
Wah! Boohoo! Cam Newton is a spoiled brat. End of story.
Some males grow up at fourteen. THEY have to take care of the family. Other males finally grow up at forty. Depends on their personality, upbringing and BACKBONE.
He left a wife and 4yr old son.
so happy that he lost...
I thought he’s a great player but I have to admit him not going after that fumble tonight really looked bad.
Young enough to be on his parents' health insurance!
If you need “handlers” to get you to apologize you have serious problems. Unless he matures immensely he has likely seen the apex of his career.
“Heâs young, only 26.”
I’m not buying that. He’s not that young. Twenty-six means - as a professional athlete who went to college - he’s been on the world stage for at least 8 years. He’s been a professional for at least 4 years.
I think someone could make the excuse about the devastating emotional loss. That I understand. Being 26? No.
His handlers will get him to apologize
