I just saw in the Daily Mail that that play occurred when the Broncos scored after he had been strip sacked.
Honestly, he didn’t look right from the beginning of the game. I thought he came out lacking poise and confidence. I felt like the momentum was for the Broncos almost immediately. You could see his frustration, and he looked like he was pouting and sulking because it wasn’t as easy as it had been for him this year. I don’t know what he was thinking on that fumble. Why didn’t he try to pick it up?
The bottom line is if you are going to celebrate and make a lot of noise when you win, you have to be able to do the converse and be humble when you lose. Take your lumps and answer the questions. I can only imagine how hard it would be having to talk to the media after you lose the biggest game of your career, but that’s the nature of the business. Every QB and coach has to do it.
I can’t answer for him. I know he does quite a bit for the children here in Charlotte.
I just think he was defeated by a better team. Peyton Manning had his team ready.
Our defense was ready but we could not move the ball on offense.
I am a bit tired of everybody attacking Cam Newton, he loves this game and got beat. He’ll get over it.
I am very proud of Manning and what he brings to the game.
It is a lesson for all!
